Hi Rayanne,

I'm a newbie in dermalogica products.

Was introduced to it by my sister and will usually get her products at the Leonard Drake outlet at Mid-valley.

Well, lately my skin has been giving me problems. Sudden red patches would appear on my face & sometimes it tends to be itchy as well. sad.gif

So my sister recommended me to try out the sensitive travel kit from dermalogica. I've tried it for a few days & noted that my skin has gotten better. My skin seems clearer & no sudden inflamation & redness as well. biggrin.gif

Am thinking of sticking to this one brand as the other brands that I've tried out like skinfood, loreal & etc... doesn't seem to work as well as dermalogica.

I'm also currently looking for an anti-aging cream for my face as well... could you recommend something for me?

Thanks.. tongue.gif

Hi Beverly_Ng,
Glad to hear that you found dermalogica a wise product for you!
Yes it is different from the others skin care you've tried. May you compare with the price range you have already got the answer like we always say 一分钱一分货 if you can read chinese  laugh.gif And subject to individual skin condition...ma.

For anti aging, there are eye care/face care regimen product recommended as below:

extra firming booster, 30ml
skin condition: drier or prematurely-aging skin
Firm-up fine lines with skin-retexturizing Seaweed, Vitamin C and Protein Peptides. Gentle enough for even the eye area. (more)

multivitamin power concentrate, 45 capsules
skin condition: drier or prematurely-aging skin
Help reduce the signs of premature aging with this daily dose of topically-applied pure vitamins. (more)

multivitamin power recovery(R) masque, 75ml
skin condition: drier or prematurely-aging skin
Super-concentrated antioxidant vitamins and botanicals dramatically calm and reduce the redness associated with stressed, prematurely-aging skin. (more)

total eye care spf15,15ml
skin condition: all
A tinted cream to retexturize, protect and refresh your vulnerable eye area during the day e.g finelines, with SPF15. (more)

note: Please go to www.dermalogica.com for (more) info.
should you need any further info pls pm me.
thanks

Hi Rayanne,

Yeah... that's true about the pricing I mean. sweat.gif

But if it works, I don't mind budgeting a bit to get it. laugh.gif

My skin is dry and tends to be a bit sensitive, since the multivitamin power firm for eye & lip area is suitable for sensitive skin, do you think it would suit me as well?

Am also curious on the pricing for the extra firming booster as well... thinking of getting it next time but not sure whether it'll be ok for my skin??

Could you quote me the pricing for:
1. Soothing Protection Spray
2. Barrier Repair
3. Extra Firming Booster
4. Multivitamin Power Firm
5. Total Eye Care

Hehe.... one more question, compare to the multivitamin power firm & total eye care, which would be better? hmm.gif

Hi Rayanne,

Would like to check with you if you have used the Averine 'Satin Smooth Foundation'?

How is it? Is it good?

It caught my attention cause it has Shea Butter which I heard is quite good for the skin. blush.gif

Added on June 29, 2007, 10:10 pmHi Rayanne,

I've actually bought a Kanebo Sponge Chief for make-up removal...

I think it would be something similar to the Dermalogica "The Sponge Cloth".

But when it's fully dry, It'll become a very hard cloth... and I do mean really HARD! Not foldable after that.

But if I were to fold it while it's still wet, dark spots starts to appear after awhile. Is there anyway for me to fold it without having the dark spots coming out.

Appreciate your advice... notworthy.gif

Hi Bev,
Yeah averine is a good choice though. It is Make-care comestic, make up while protecting skin.

We have The sponge cloth from dermalogica but never encounter your problem like the one you bought from K brand. Do you rinse properly and hang for air-dry (sun ray exposure, not into wet washroom)?

The dermalogica sponge cloth is:
A super-soft cleansing cloth, gentle enough for even the most sensitized skin. Use dampened with water to remove all Dermalogica cleansers. Rinse cloth thoroughly, and allow to air-dry.

how it works
Made from biodegradeable, bacteria-resistant fabric.
Machine-washable.
Includes convenient travel pouch.

the dark spot u mean is like 生乌龟 which due to no air-dry.. but wet-dry..?!

Hi Rayanne,

Well you see the dark spots will only appear if I were to fold it to it's original shape while it's still wet. Luckily it's only a few spots so far....

But since the dark spots started appearing, I've been leaving it dry all out and it has stopped appearing more. Unfortunately, when the cloth is fully dry, I will not be able to fold it cause it'll be especially hard.

Any way for me to fold it without having to add 1 more spot on the clothe while it's still marginally wet? cry.gif

Hi Rayanne,

Wanted to check with you cause since I'm using the Barrier Repair, I find that though it's not getting irritated that often but there are some parts of the skin around my cheek which is getting a bit dry & rough. cry.gif

Do you think maybe I need to change the Barrier Repair to another moisturizer (e.g: smoothing cream)? sweat.gif

Hi bev,
if your skin is not much sensitive (redness etc.) , yeah you can consider taking smoothing cream smile.gif in fact, do you have an exfoliator to remove dead skin cells?
thanks looking forward your text msg, going to salon soon.

Rayanne,

In fact I do have the gentle cream exfoliant and daily microfoliant but very seldom use it. Maybe 3 weeks once or 1 month once. smile.gif

Hi Rayanne,

Wish to check with you on the Averine foundation.

You see I'm not sure the difference on the Two Way Compact Foundation SPF15 & the Satin Smooth Foundation.

Do you think it'll be alright to use the compact foundation for skin with combi of dry & sensitive?

What's the retail price for the 2 Way Compact?

Any recommendation on the shade that would be suitable for me? I'm currently using Shu's Face Architect 764 and if I'm in a rush, I'll use the red earth (2 mode) 2 way cake foundation. notworthy.gif

Hi Rayanne,

Hope you're doing fine.

Need your advice cause lately my skin has been getting quite congested around the chin to the jaw line. Little bumps coming out and when squeeze there is this white thingy coming out. cry.gif

If after cleansing face, in 2 hours time can feel my skin getting oily but if I were to do the normal routine of toner & moisturizing, it's not that bad.

Would you be able to provide some advice? Previously I'm a combination to dry (with mild acne & sensitive). Do you think now my skin condition is more to oily now? icon_question.gif
