there is no target product for blackhead removal in dermalogica but recommend exfoliant/scrub for better result, follow by skin hdyrating mask to soften skin for easy blackheads removal ya. there are few kinds of scrub depends on your skin condition,it helps to remove dead skin cell and promote new skin cell renewal, a must have skin care regimen to me

Hi rayanne, I got a very dry skin and sometimes my facial skin is flaking . May i know if i can still use Special Cleansing Gel? And also, i've been using Skin smoothing cream for almost 6 months, month 1- month 5 i can adapt very well with this moisturizer but recently i realise i start to have whiteheads on my cheek whenever i applied the moisturizer. I realise this after i've been on and off for 2-3 weeks with it. What actually is happening ? Can i still continue use it? Or i need a lighter weight moisturizer for my face? Thanks

if you have dry skin to use special cleansing gel you will feel tight after using it, if you have combination dry +oily skin eg on the t zone maybe you can use it on oily part.
for the moisturiser it may because your skin condition has changes due to external factor because i dont think it adapt well in 5months but change at a sudden. it may due to imbalance hormone or weather etc. anyhow at this moment if you have oil seed, it may a sign of over moisture, if you said its whiteheads, i would say that every skin is naturally grow with white/blackheads which due to oily skin condition

Hi Rayanne, if i'm combination skin type, t-zone would be somehow oily and congested.cheeks are quite dry, n flakes (when using Gentle soothing booster my cheeks flake n even my nose as well, so i stopped now! skin no more flakes but dry).
Skin smoothing would quite rich to me (ok for cheek, but too heavy to my t-zone)
To solve this, do you think if i add on hydrating booster on my cheek while applying active moist would further improve my skin moisture level?

if skin smoothing cream too rich for you, you may try active moist for both cheek and t zone 1st, not necessary to buy both together. booster is still a booster ,not moisturiser ,further it helps hydration, not moisture

have not heard any case that hydrating booster would irritate the skin becos it suitable for all skin type but not gentle soothing booster, the ingredient to sooth skin may irritate one skin, i would say not all skin type suitable to use this even though it aims to reduce inflammation ,from experience. Good if to try sample 1st before getting standard size.

I have a crazy thought, or maybe i use active moist in day time because i'm using sunblock spf25
and use skin smoothing at night because i sleep in the air-con room!
Or since my cheek drier, so i may put on skin smoothing on cheek, n t-zone apply active moist..
do you think this may work out better?

in dermalogica there is total eye care spf15 www.dermalogica.com to reduce dark eye cycles. anyhow it may takes a prolong period to get rid of it ,some may due to inheritance and its not easy to get rid off, only trial on different skin care can give you a suitable eye gel

if you have dry skin,its either essential cleansing gel or skin resurfacing cleanser (anti aging) www.dermalogica.com
only trial on the products can give you an answer. but definitely not special cleansing gel becos it tends to remove excessive oil, this cleanser suitable for oily skin type only
