Updated news for KIA Rio Sedan 2012(New York 2011: Kia debuts all-new 2012 Rio with start-stop, good for 40 MPG) rclxms.gif .But I THINK LOOK LIKE MAZDA2 A Lil bit shocking.gif .Back look like KIA Koup.
*
It actually looks worse than the concept pics I must say. The side profile is now more fluid, like a Mazda/Hyundai rather than the chiselled look of the Forte or the Optima.

Still a looker, just not what I've expected based on the original pre-production pictures.

Not that I care that much to be honest, since I'll be looking to upgrade to a higher segment (Optima) or go continental (Scirocco please VW Australia) in the future; far future that is.

No.

US cars are left-hand drives.

You're better off buying one in US and use it kao kao there. Study hard so that you graduate top of your class, then get a good paying job in M'sia then buy one IN M'sia. But by the time you graduate, come back and work, Kia might actually release newer (hopefully even better) cars.

Having said that, if you're in US you might want to check out the 2.0T SX Optima. Sure it's much bigger, heavier, has 4 doors compared to the Koup, but the engine has more grunt and you'll be able to ferry your mates around easier. It's 1 second quicker to the century sprint although it's slightly larger size may mean there's more inertia around corners, but hell you're not gonna race it every day.

I'd still say don't waste your money on expensive new cars if you're dead sure that you'll be back in 2 years' time. Unless you (or your parents) have too much money in the pocket.

My friend bought his car 3 days and the push start button failed, could not start the car. Not due to brake sensor. Took him 7 days to get the push start button replaced. Is this a common problem or isolated case?

Guys I am still struggling whether to get Mazda3 or Forte. Went to PJ Kia Showroom and the people and service there are really suck...really worry on the after sales service....Like not bother to do business like that...
