I am not too sure on .58 update changelog, but at mini pro, it is said to improve wifi perf by lil margin, maybe?

Battery mod, I found the info here

The Notification toggle mod, I got the info from here. This has 8 scrollable options which is more complete than the other toggle mod (usually has only 6 icons).

I with you'll do it right

This mod saved some RAM and loading time of my Neo. Previously using widgets which eat some resource. I really need to see how many % battery left without opening any program or setting. Other than that, faster access to BT, Wifi etc and saves space on my home screen.

and later i wanna install clockmod but failed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1183465 when i type fastboot in the command prompt it said invalid. And i dunno where to paste the filed i downloaded to

you need root explorer.

in "/system/" I enable R/W

then I paste systemUI.apk from SDcard in the folder. Set the permission to rw-r--r--

then i move the file into /system/app after I set permission successfully. you can't set permission in SDcard filesystem.

Overwrite and reboot.

The same goes to framework-res.apk, but it is in /system/framework

I didn't use clockmod. I think the steps I used is a lot simpler. If somehow I got bootloop, then I need to use recovery. But so far I have no issues like bootloop and missing contacts like other forumers did.

They say reboot isn't working (yet) with Neo

For Xperia users, did u missed Smart Dialing feature? Since it is not supported natively in Xperia line-up. (you need to install it from 3rd party in the Market)

what's that? isn't that there are voice dial and favourite?

its a features that that u use when u in a dial pad, u only need to type few letters and the phone will search relevant contacts. Example, contact name is John Smith, u only need to type JS, and the phone will suggest u contacts that have such letters. working for first and last name and phone number some more. Try search in Market RocketDial..

I've just tried the Battery mod with Reboot option, and it works with Neo
Need reboot because I always did some testing with program & phone :“) ... When i connect to MSC mode/charging, it need to wait for SE logo animation & battery icon to switch the phone back on.

However, the light behind [Back|Home|Option] button does not light up, an issue which is suspected with this mod. Hope they will fix this, but was negligible for me.

I will study if there are any effects with the stability and power drain.



Hmmm hands so itchy

Issues so far:
1. Some shortcuts in the home screen is gone. You have to make the shortcut again.
2. Icons in apps screen need to re-arrange. Have to arrange them manually again. No apps gone or deleted.

this is ap set and inside
got chinnse lnguage apps
n keyboard that i dony undrstnd to use.

since i still dont hve time to root my phone,
is there any way for me to uninstall those apps
wthout rooting?

How much did u bought it?
Have u try in Application manager? Or a faster way to uninstall apps is, hold the icon of the app that u want to remove, and when u are in edit mode, just click it again to uninstall.

use WOTANSERVER program to re-install your NEO with the latest official ROM. It will debrand it , making it fully basic and english. no need to root
