agreed with @LuffyPSP. if you only stick to Stock ROM and don't want to root your phone go get Incredible S, my friends using it and I like it. Very responsive because of the new CPU, SLCD screen are nice. Maybe will change once root available + my commitment to Maxis is over.

BTW @LuffyPSP CM7 battery not as good as LeeDroiD, is there difference kernel available?

well as shinnkQ said, use vork by Benne. but i still recommend the stock kernel by cm7. its the best available compiled from kali- and i trust him the most. and my battery is ok. i admit, when using Leedroid its great but i dont notice much difference with cm7. check your apps i guess.

Unless you meant using your phone's 3G to make WiFi Hotspot then Yes but you can't simultaneously have WiFi and Hotspot.. (Redundant)

Anybody got any good car-charger that charges the battery fast?

I got the HTC ori car-charger from Maxis and it sucks. Takes more than 30mins just to charge 10%.

u mean other phone models can use the phone camera as a webcam ?

I'm using car usb charger from dc mugen. It's not the fastest charger but definitely faster than what you have now. Plus its pretty cheap.

Im using Rm10 chargers, buy from any handphone shop. bought 2 and both serving me very well. Chargers quite fast as well.

have you tried Fring? i'm sure our desire's camera can use it. lol the one i mean is the wifi hotspot lah~~ using my 3g connection. so my ipod touch wont need to find anonymous wifi anymore cuz my desire is there and my desire can still connect to network using the 3g's network.

i think cuz facetime for iphone 4 using phone number(i assume your gf use ip4 same as my gf?) and the ipod touch use the email address as the id? whatever it is, as long as video call works, i'm good with it.

See told ya it'll work. Fring got occassional important update so thats why i love it. and Appstore should have Fring too so you and your gf are good to go!

cannot be, since Optimus 2X is actually using Tegra 2,
thus the performance cannot be higher than say Atrix,
since both phones are actually using the same processor
even if there are difference, its on the software side, and not the hardware

Optimus 3D however, is using the latest offering from TI, the TI OMAP4430 chipset,
from the benchmarks its actually the fastest dual core so far

confirmed, its Adobe Reader's fault, its really laggy, as in unbearably laggy,
when I use Documents To Go to open the same PDF file, its not lagging at all

and the chatbox is really lagging as well, for unknown reason

but other than that, my phone is actually silky smooth through out,
at least its not lagging when browsing through SMS, or gallery of photos, etc

Yeah I know it is, very bad.

Wasn't sure was it apps or my 1Ghz failing on me. Will try QuickOffice now.

And yes, it's not lagging on all those you mentioned, just funny how those 2 lags so badly.
