ya, when im trying to install FourSquare on CM7 RC2, its said Application not installed..

Hi guys, anyone using psx4droid? i left it for a long time edy and now there is v2. need to buy again kah? damn it if yes cuz my credit card has reached its limit.

and anyone can suggest good games to play on gameboid, snesoid and psx4droid on Desire? and also a good site to download the roms. i mean the one that is easy to play on a touch screen, but fun and addicted.

Got question. When I try to use psx4droid, it says "must specify bios file first, usually named......etc". What is this bios file??

there's a new PSX emulator now, called FPSE, its performance is very good, playing almost every game at 100% speed
IMO don't bother with PSX4droid

as for good games to recommend, I find that the best genre for touchscreen phones are usually Strategy RPG,
GBA has Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2, Fire Emblem
PSX has Final Fantasy Tactics, Hoshigami, Tactics Ogre
N64 has Ogre Battle 64

SCPH1001.bin, you need to download it and put it into your SD card, then open up the emulator and browse for this file to specify it

one more thing guys, what app/software you use for tethering your mobile's network on your laptop? i'm currently using EasyTether and got update this morning and cant get rid of the icon on the notification bar. and the pro version is damn expensive!

Turborcharge when switching from Sense to CM7, sound good. Maybe over the weekend will try CM7. BTW important features I found in HTC Sense are the dialer and People. Other not important.

@volcane, try youlu address book. Great and cleaner dialer i would say. got messaging app integrated too, though i think it is still in BETA. but yeah the t9 dialer works perfectly.

@LuffyPSP thank for the tips, will give it a try. Any other features which is prominent to CM7? 1GB Ext3 Partition enough? BTW my phone is S-OFF

512 ext is more than enough. you need to worry your internal as the cache will eventually eat it up over time. so you might wanna be changing hboot if you are s-off.

EDIT : you are s-off and yeah recommended is cm7. and dont move cache to SD as it will involve personal issues. just the ext partition the way it is.

as for CM7 features, try comparing it with Oxygen(the most stock you can see), and you'll know in the CM settings itself has much more features added, plus its getting better with each nightlies.

I think I will try RC2 because can't afford to flash ROM every night. What say you? My HBOOT are AlphaRev 0.93.0001 which version should I move it to? Can I star with my existing hboot?

well you can try the latest nightlies and staying with it. every nightlies is pretty stable i would say, compared to cm6 nightlies.

if you are just trying, then try it with your current hboot i guess. yours should be the stock hboot. if you consider staying, might try the n1table hboot or cm7 hboot. see more at alpharev.nl

i flashed nightlies when i have free times, and sometimes 1 nightlies per each 10. and you can flash without wipe so no trouble flashing everyday.

I use foursquare daily with CM7 RC2 and don't have an issue

Which one you recommend? n1table or cm7 hboot? I saw big difference in the cache size 95M vs 5M. Any performance difference?

Yes, you are right I am on the Stock Table 250M system / 40M cache

finally found out what causes widget locker's widget to go missing every time i reboot my phone. it appears that the theme chooser is the culprit..

@volcane - i am obviously going to recommend CM7 hboot. no performance issues as long as you dont move your cache/dalvik cache to your SD-ext.
