dono, but once i got pass the opening screen n got into dashboard, no problem except sometime power off during heavy cutscene(eg ME3)

early sign ylod i assume.

happening since dec last year.... i play game everyday like this

haha,sometimes 3 beeps not just overheat, randomly u can meet its power supply issue also can beep thrice

Surprisingly i met a friend phat unit he never off power just stay standby mode for already 4-5 years

i did my research on ylod b4, i heard there is this guy said tat he made a special ventilation for his ps3 and because he dont 1 2 update firmware so he on his ps3 all the way until now i guess? and its working i guess?

i found out that u can actually keep the ps3 fan running during standby

Just have to pair a PSP system with it, enable remote play

been doing that with my phat ps3 everyday

Not sure if it's good for the PS3, but I heard that as long as its on standby, chances of YLOD are slim?

baru blagak smalam tht my ps3 can play, now cant even enter the title screen...

i hav no idea about this, maybe u can do research bout this.. XD btw with remote play on u wont be able to play ps3 game, only normal purpose in xmb like listening to music/look out gallery/web surfing/watch video... those stuff only...

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to join you guys on the PS3 phat YLOD users. Mine is MY set 80GB bought in Dec 2008. Bought a second hand Assasin Creed 2 game 2 days ago & suddenly my PS3 froze & auto-shutdown.

Frequently it happens, & it happened to my other games as well. I guess I could say sayonara to this baby?
