me neither, I just found that using root, you will gain root access and start at root path of N900, you can't change the path using cd, it is use for master command execution such as reboot. There might other use but I am no Linux master tongue.gif

sudo gainroot will only give you root access and start at the home directory where you can change path to execute file manually

Well, there is no way to buy it even if we wanted to. tongue.gif
I paid for the Maemo Angry Birds Level packs. But them bastards abandoned us.
Without Preenv I would have gotten rid of the N900 long ago.

If you want a troublefree & long supported phone take SGS2.
But the search of my N900 "replacement" is still going on...

just install what you want and turn it off, ignore all those updates

extras-develop repository are programs which is not fully compatible with N900 and will have minor/major problem, so, preenv in dev state means it is not fully complete, there are risk involve even everyone is working fine with preenv.

always check at talk maemo for others comment before you hand on it. If everyone running fine, 99% you will be too
