I've successfully hook up my N900 to the TV, Thanks again for the advice guys!
Maybe this might be a simple feature for smartphones, but seeing my N900's screen on the TV for the 1st time feels so good! The N900 still continues to surprise me sometimes. Haha..
In other news, Nokia N9 is already out for testing at Nokia centre, Pavillion, KL. Tried it for the 1st time and it felt really good! Slowly kena poison.. >_<!
Wait till you see the multi-tasking in action!
Once I was playing video-out, then I received SMS, so I go to my phone, press CTRL+Backspace to go to multitasking screen.... the video is still playing on the TV with no interruption, so I proceed to read my SMS, and then reply, send. The video is playing without any interruption during this whole process. Amazing
Btw, I'm using kmplayer that time.

i do feel that microb browser and n900 qwerty trumps n9..n9 not a true successor of n900

In short, it's kind of different from Maemo; Personally I wouldn't call it a true successor of Maemo as well, MAYBE, if we're talking about the MeeGo Tablet version?

Afterall, Maemo is a tablet class OS.
To the public, N9 will look more like a very much improved Symbian, since they don't know much or care about OS. It will look like a good replacement overthe Symbian devices, very much improved and what they might prefer/like.

true... not to say people ABSOLUTELY do not want it.
but companies sure will want to catch up with the MOST popular demand... and i believe it is FULL TOUCH now.... *sob sob
so... there we go, they're just going to follow the mainstream demand.
We all who desire more QWERTY keypads will just have to evolve...
and KEEP the n900
Because they need to consider the form factor/size.
