suddenly got a wild thought, if we can link to wifi network, connect to LAN, is it possible to send document to network printer for printing

Do try easy debian. The installing part may be a bit messy but it'll very2 helpful with extra functions.

Is there hope for n900 using myriad alien dalvik?
Its practically an emulator to run android apps....
google it seems like opening doors for n900
The dalvik haven't been fully released.
Of course if Myriad release it people can expect Android apps in Maemo within 1 hour.
Yeah,I'm serious sh*t on the 1 hour part.Maemo nerds is really fast in delivering stuff providing they have all the "tools".
Example case is when MuhammadAG suggesting the app to desaturate instead or bluring while multitasking. It was delivered in few hours.

Added on February 15, 2011, 10:14 pmsomehow Android seems underpowered and clunky for such powerful devices.
Added on February 15, 2011, 10:20 pmi just hope microsoft plays nice with nokia and really allows the platform to grow.
and lets hope the web browser is not going to be only IE9 mobile...
Ah well...We can only dream of it.Nokia is hell bend on not releasing Maemo's full code.
Also,Steve Balmer can use whatever fancy words or videos to show off IE9(WP7 version) capability but it's remains as crappy browser.Let's leave flash aside, what kind of dumb@$$ manufacturer don't include their own plugin stuff in their own browser?IE9 won't have Silverlight support also

After spending about 50% the cost of my telefonsaya on paid apps from the official kedai and kedai kupu2, I'd say I really don't mind unfree stuff as long as it's quality stuff.
I mean I love open and free (as in speech) as much as the next person. But as long as it comes with a viably healthy software ecosystem. I mean, yeah apps are quickly becoming a joke - as band aids to cover an OSes shortcomings (which admittedly, iOS has a helluva lot of), but people don't buy smartphones just to do stuff on the stock programs. I at least buy smartphones looking to enhance it's capabilities with interchangeable modular blocks to suit my needs at any given time.
And while hardware blocks are hard to accomplish (see Modu and it's consequent death) software modules are easier to implement. Thus this is the single greatest strength of the "an app for everything" mentality. Only problem is, at least for iOS, Encik Kerja locked down the frigging core software and disallowed other apps to fill their place.
The other problem with an overly healthy software ecosystem is the percentage of quality stuff goes down a bit as everybody rushes to make a quick buck over a new trend every time - creating a sea of shitty apps you have to swim through to get to that one single good one.
But a lot of choice is always better then less choice (when it comes to apps anyway). Which is ironic coming from a person using the platform that allows for the least freedom of choice here lol (the locked garden of Steve and his merry band of thieves).
And unless Google/Microsoft is planning to bring their "Official" paid stores over here, there's really not much choice coming from the other camps either, eh? Yeah, anybody can root for the paid market but that just makes the whole discussion invalid (pecahpenjara solves a helluva lot of issues really).
So to the Googster and Michealsoft -> more frigging good paid apps for the love of God. Make offers to devs. Bend your arses. Anything to ensure you get more premium apps that PEOPLE WOULD FEEL IT'S WORTH MONEY TO SPEND ON.
And no, this isn't a "telefonsaya lebih best dari telefonanda" post. It's just a long rant from someone who really wants to go to other platforms but have yet to see a good reason to. And really, I can write a whole long rant about the shortcomings of telefonsaya but let's keep that for another day, shall we?
The best platform for me would be Maemo/Meego with better power management and a healthier software ecosystem, but Nokia (may God's wrath be upon them) just peed and shat on and buried that dream deep in the ground.

And for the USB cables:
1) radz0 x 2 units
2) deanja92
Pay up guys, please!
Sometimes I wonder why these OS owners don't bother to make their Application sites open worldwide. It's kinda pointless & unfair for them to concentrate on certain market 1st.
OVI Store seems ok but not much great apps compared to iOS.
Agreed on the too many rubbish apps in epal's kedai.
I don't know whether God even care about Nokia but the stockmarket sure don't.Nokia's share keep going down like car with a loose brake.
