QUOTE(irenic @ Jun 3 2011, 04:44 PM) looks like i have to sell one of this faster due to my transformers coming tmrw! how much is SGS2 btw, the sensation is selling quite cheap, if the cons of the sensation is not a big deal, the price difference will determine which is a better phone. let's say the sensation selling RM2100, SGS2 selling RM2400, if there are not much difference between the 2, I'll choose the cheaper alternative anytime. I'm not saying I'm a HTC supporter or anything, it's just logic. Like why I bought an LG Optiimus 2X, it's WORTH the money, I mean in terms of economic logic, it's more than worth every penny, it SLAUGHTERS EVERY ANDROID PHONE on the market, even these 2ermm it's unfair to rate sensation lowly coz i havent really play with it today.. although my 1st impression is, SGS2 is better.. so i might sacrifice my beloved sgs2 for this sensation (duhh I'm not supporting any specific makers because I own a lot of different brands of gadgets, DHD, LG Optimus 2x, XOOM, etc etc, even HTC wildfire This post has been edited by stormlcc: Jun 3 2011, 05:09 PM |

I am targeting to spend about 1.8k. With my current plan, I can get a iPhone 4 from celcom with that amount 1 year contract. If I can get either Sensation or SGS2 with that price (I will throw in a little bit more say 1.9k) then better newer phone better ma |

In generally, the phone battery life is definitely longer compare to DHD?
even if it is running on dual core? My hand got itchy now... thinking of switching from DHD to Sensation... |

i just ran few tests of web browsing and sensation loads faster than sgs2..
the good thing is, sensation by default open all website in their desktop mode, while sgs2 opens in mobile mode.. |

If u r a HTC user , u should know its not fair for anyone to pass judgement on Sensation's batt life as it takes a while to run in for optimum usage . Give it another week n u will know for sureeven if it is running on dual core? My hand got itchy now... thinking of switching from DHD to Sensation... |

QUOTE(samurai1337 @ Jun 3 2011, 09:53 AM) Can anyone confirm this? I believe it is still unibody, but on the other of the phone instead of the normal half everyone expected it to be.http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_sensation_does...l-news-2731.php No unibody as it turns out? Its like helmet now. The unibody is removable, but it still basically covers the whole phone once it is installed. Some people might dislike it, but honestly, after the whole DHD problem with its stupid flimsy side doors, this is much more functional in the long run. It just sacrifices a little bit of sturdiness due to it is no longer fixed but removable (still much stronger than what you can expect from SGS2). |

What is the battery calibration app? Can some tell me the name?
Added on June 3, 2011, 10:09 pmTo me, i fully charged it last night and removed it at 9am. Since then, i have called for at least 30mins.. sms countless, whatsapp like 150 msgs.. and downloaded around 500+mb of crap.. using wifi btw, only turn on my mobile network for 15 mins and within that time watchdog reported around 1.5mb only.. and it lasted till 6pm with 8% battery left.. For me, i think this is acceptable.. cause on normal use.. i just want the phone to last 1 day and charge at night.. so after the novelty wears out, i wont be downloading a shit load of apps.. Oh yah, and another 200mb of apps transfered from my laptop to my sensation via bluetooth.. also connected my sensation to my car radio and spoke on the phone for 20 mins using car radio connected via bluetooth.,..
