Wow..still doubt the screen quality compare to SGS II

anyone care to do review? I know the pro and con of SGSII and sensation but my concern is the battery life. If possible compare battery life

If battery life on Sensation is too bad compare to SGSII then I think I can say bye bye to Sense 3.0. Otherwise, I would consider buying Sensation instead of waiting for SGSII.

cyberic: give the owners some time. The battery usage in the first few days won't be accurate anyway:
- Battery is not fully calibrated (takes few full charges)
- As it's new phone, usage sure super-duper high (hardly considered moderate)

What Samurai said is true, need a few more days for more accurate battery review. But off hand, most of the review sites comparison do quote that the sensation has a better battery life than the sgs2.

I do agree about that. just that I want some preview of the battery life . hand itchy already !! lol

@pratt. I know but tech radar said it sucks..so just want confirmation from owner.

I'll try to give my unbiased review after a few days but then again I don't have an sgs2 to compare.

Got my set at arnd 3:00 pm. intercepted the seller immediately after he left SIS HQ.

First impressions:
The screen is fabulous and qHD resolution is such an improvement compared even to SGS2's SAMOLED+.
Interface is responsive and smooth. No laggyness detected so far.

Web browsing i.e. page rendering is not as fast as SGS2 but I really don't mind bcos my primary browsing device is the iPad.

Lastly, HTC Sense really rawks, TouchWiz 4.0 is simply no comparison.

Even though some say SGS2 is speedier and more raw power, but as a phone and communicator device overall package, Sensation definitely beats the SGS2.

Apparently the custom screen protector is available for the sensation too so don't forget to ask it from your shop. coz I think SIS didn't have time to pack it together with the box.

Just got mine an hour ago..will give my review regarding the battery life as well..which is actually my main concern too!!

Will try out this phone for a month...if im not happy i will get sgs2 by the end of the month...


So hard to type in portait mode..keep pressing the options key...zzz...first time using touchscreen
