Got my set at arnd 3:00 pm. intercepted the seller immediately after he left SIS HQ.

First impressions:
The screen is fabulous and qHD resolution is such an improvement compared even to SGS2's SAMOLED+.
Interface is responsive and smooth. No laggyness detected so far.

Web browsing i.e. page rendering is not as fast as SGS2 but I really don't mind bcos my primary browsing device is the iPad.

Lastly, HTC Sense really rawks, TouchWiz 4.0 is simply no comparison.

Even though some say SGS2 is speedier and more raw power, but as a phone and communicator device overall package, Sensation definitely beats the SGS2.

In that case, get desire hd

Gaining knowledge from YouTube is good to make some background study. But I've tested both, maybe not side by side but sgs2 screen lose to sensation.

Choosing btwn punchier colors or higher resolution, for sure high rez is better.

sensation of course.
2400 can buy the phone, screen protector and a nice casing.

i was user of iphone, incredible s, samsung galaxy s / s2 and now sensation.
so far, sensation has been the winner.

needless to say, everybody needs for a phone is never exactly the same.

for example, if u r a techno-geek and derives pleasure from trying out different roms, achieve orgasm by having a few more benchmark points, then galaxy s2 is probably the best device for u.
it is the fastest android device available here right now. touchwiz is crap so u shld change it very soon.

but if u r just a normal modern phone user, who wishes to keep in touch with friends and family and social networks is important to you, HTC sense on sensation is the definitive choice.

the differences in battery life, screen (one is punchy colors, the other has sharper display), video, camera is not too much and comparisons are heavily biased.

u must also consider HTC's track record of providing device updates quite consistently.

myself also tried it in weak reception areas.
never dropped calls or wifi signal.

as apple showed earlier. all phones do have death grip area and it's not a problem in normal usage.
it is those ppl with NBTD that makes a mountain out of mole hill.

a) samsung fanboys have no sense.
b) qHD. it's the closest thing to Retina display on android.
