just got my sensation in pyramid jz now, going to update the warranty soon.

Seriously considering on this phone and following as I type. I wonder how good this phone is as I am really looking forward to buy this or SG2.

you sure about the bold sentences? I watch the comparison on youtube sensation is suckier than incredible..which I believe SGS2 should be superior than incredible..so how come sensation can be on par with SGS2 samoled?..

Lets just not mention sgs2 in sensation thread to avoid issues.. even in xda ppl r fighting.. lol

Been playing around with the sensation for around 4 hours now. All i can say is

- Feels premium and has a good grip on the hand
- No lag from Sense 3.0, and pretty responsive
- Screen is pleasant, contrast and black levels not as high as the SAMOLED plus, but still pleasant to look. The QHD screen really makes a difference. I cant notice any pixels.
- Video playback quality is pretty amazing
- Browser is absolutely fast with Wifi.
- Camera quality is surprisingly quite good as i was not expecting much from a smartphone. Comparable with iphone 4 and SGS2, but again, the contrast levels isnt as high, which makes the pictures quite soft.
- Takes photos in an instant with zero lag.
- Front facing camera is pretty good as well.
- Ive not tried video recording yet.
- Battery is quite the drainer. (Mebbe because it hasnt been broken in yet)
- And finally speakerphone... bleughhh! I can hardly hear my wife. The volume is too soft at the maximum.

Overall i would rate this phone Sensational!

You watched comparison videos, he has both.

IMO AMOLED screens are overhyped. In the end of the day as long as the colour reproductions are spot on (no crazy tints) then ok la. Just because SLCDs aren't marketed as a superior display doesn't mean it isn't. Samsung needs to market the AMOLED aspect because they have to fine special about their phone. HTC's banking on the UI.

By the way... im a bit annoyed that i have MAXIS bloatware inside! Even the first default screen is named "Maxis" WTH? I did not buy it from Maxis and im not expecting anything from any telco. Digging deeper i see even more bloatware from M1 Singapore Telco.

Gaining knowledge from YouTube is good to make some background study. But I've tested both, maybe not side by side but sgs2 screen lose to sensation.

Choosing btwn punchier colors or higher resolution, for sure high rez is better.
