QUOTE(Ayam-man @ Mar 15 2011, 10:55 PM) Wow. Lego Sazabi!
QUOTE(lucasng89 @ Mar 15 2011, 11:12 PM) Matter in fact, i found a cheap price in titanium ver.. Titanium Finish won't look nice if you want to place decals.
QUOTE(lucasng89 @ Mar 15 2011, 11:20 PM) I thought of this too hmm.. thinking buying titanium ver to match my sinanju titanium ver I don't know why Sinanju's called Titanium Finish. It's just metallic coating. It should be called Coating Version, like the rest.

QUOTE(zheyuen @ Mar 17 2011, 07:39 PM) where to get tamiya/mr hobby aqueous acrylics actually ah? You might wanna give the brand Pelikan a try, although it's slightly glossy. It washes off easily with water.
There are several types (some are for fabric, some for handicrafts, some for plastic/glass surfaces) so be sure you get the right type.
QUOTE(aezsky @ Mar 17 2011, 07:39 PM) So,my questions are ; 1)Is it a wise choice to get PG SF instead of PG 00R?? 2)Which one is better in your opinion??Any drawbacks of any of the model kits?? 3)What is the market price for a PG 00R + 2-Way Stand nowadays??How about the Clear Parts?? 1) Personally, no. 2) Judging from MG 00R's pictures, the PG holds an advantage in the looks department. The same can't be said for PG SF when compared to its MG. Articulation-wise, PG 00R is better due to its design. Both also suffers from back-heavy issues, but PG SF is the one that breaks often. 3) With stand is around RM780~850. Clear parts alone around RM180~200.
PG 00R's clear parts are kinda useless unless you are a modeller. Bandai already gave its warning:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « In order to build a Perfect Grade 00 Raiser using all of the clear armor parts, an unbuilt 00 Raiser kit is needed. (In other words, you have to add the parts as you build, and cannot add all of them later once the model has been assembled.)
If you try to remove the armor parts from an already-built PG 00 Raiser, you will find there are some parts that physically cannot be removed, and some other parts are likely to be broken if you try to forcibly remove them. Therefore some parts absolutely cannot be replaced if starting with an already-built model. Your understanding on this point will be appreciated. Also, there is a risk of breaking the clear parts contained in the original PG 00 Raiser kit, and these clear parts are not included in the clear armor parts set.
Due to the nature of the material used in the clear armor parts set, once a PG 00 Raiser has been assembled using the clear armor parts, there is risk of damage if you attempt to remove the clear armor parts and replace them. The clear armor parts cannot be removed and replaced after they are put onto the model. My suggestion: keep the PG 00R and its stand, sell off the clear parts. PG looks better than MG 00R, and even if you don't feel like picking up the MG too, just wait for MG 007S.
QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 17 2011, 08:48 PM) now also wonder the strike RG will be easily break since i got NG/ TV grade 1/100 Aile Strike before, the aile backpack got 1 joint and if pull and push in the body for sometimes it will snap. So was PG Aile Strike's. It should be able to withstand the weight without a problem. You should be more worried about the Gundam leaning to the back by itself.
QUOTE(General_Nic @ Mar 17 2011, 09:14 PM) Wanna ask, if jz want to apply a flat topcoat, shud spray b4 or after assembling? Wrong section to ask, but you could do it either way or both ways. If before, make sure you remove them from the runners first.

QUOTE(zheyuen @ Mar 17 2011, 10:38 PM) oh yea, ive seen pelikan before. you sure its good? I wouldn't say it's good or not.
It washes off easily with water, it doesn't fade, easy to use, got lotsa colors to choose from. Only thing is, it's slightly glossier than your usual paint. I use it to paint thin lines (like Sinanju's emblem), for panel lining, and on small die-cast cars. I've never used it to paint huge areas because i don't like my kits to look "wet", although i really love that extra shine on my die-cast cars. Like i said, give one small bottle a try. You might like it or you won't. Added on March 17, 2011, 11:08 pmFancy an iPad beneath your Gunpla?

But honestly, i like how you can put pictures in the frame. Or maybe fit in a mirror. Or a clear panel with LEDs on the corners. This post has been edited by Parody: Mar 17 2011, 11:17 PM

QUOTE(MyKy44 @ Mar 18 2011, 09:28 AM) tht stand can hold 1/100s ka? Should be able to but it seems a bit too short for 1/100 scale.

No love for this guy? He looks like a Zaku!

Click image for more. In case anyone's wondering, it's priced like SD, slightly shorter than a regular 1/144 Gundam, and no pliers needed for assembly (pluck & assemble).

QUOTE(zheyuen @ Mar 19 2011, 08:13 PM) hey guys, dunno where to ask this but...i was spray painting ( with a spray can) and i felt that i sprayed a bit onto my wrists...but there was no paint on my wrist! Don't worry about it. You should be more worried about what you inhaled.
QUOTE(golbeza @ Mar 20 2011, 12:17 AM) I really wanted to buy it since it's been months i dun buy gundam models, but something got my attention that time. I saw the nendoroid Black rock shooter, i dunno which anime it comes out from, but it looks damn cute >_<;;. so i bought it over gundam. My first nendoroid (sry off topic ) What a coincidence! That was my first Nendo too.

Someone was asking if MG ShenLong's dragon fang could be switched to the other arm? Answer is yes.

QUOTE(bcchin83 @ Mar 20 2011, 01:30 PM) Hi..guy..want to check here.. I just have my own sinanju..,I already spray this kits with Sparking Red (Arrow Brand Aerosol Spray )...Now I want to know which step should I continue 1st.. > Apply Water Decal and then spray with another layer of Mr Super Clear Gloss or >Spray another layer of Mr Super Clear Gloss then baru apply water decal. I am quite confuse here..coz I never use those clear coating b4.. I read some article and saying that those clear coating can melt the decal ...need your guys advice...thanks Decals stick better on glossy smooth surface.
If your painted kit is smooth enough, you can straight apply waterslide decals, followed by your layers of topcoat. If your painted kit is not smooth enough, reverse the process, and finish with another layer of topcoat.
Topcoats don't melt waterslide decals. Only decal solvents (like Mr. Mark Softener) and decal setters (like Solvaset) do.P.S: I really appreciate the mod who keeps moving posts like this to the correct thread.

QUOTE(golbeza @ Mar 20 2011, 11:51 PM) if only these were selling in kl... the prices for Unicorn & Sinanju jackets with hoods are more or less the prices of their own MG I already know what my friends are gonna say if they see me wear this:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « "Hey man, nice Transformers t-shirt you're wearing."
QUOTE(hybr1d3d @ Mar 21 2011, 12:38 AM) quick question, did anyone know where to get the glow in dark miro-powder which could be used for airbrushing? (mixing with Tamiya Clear color) Wish i could help you, but i don't even know this kinda stuff exists!
QUOTE(Harddisk @ Mar 21 2011, 01:12 AM) From the diagram, it seems the peg on the dragon fang was meant for right arm only. How to swap? The peg is part of the dragon fang, and both the forearms have the holes to fit it in. It is the same shape as (part F5) used for the shield, so it's swappable.
The upcoming Altron EW (Nataku) will have two dragon fangs. It doesn't make sense if the dragon fang can only be used on the right arm, since both these Gundams are essentially the same.
QUOTE(pikakhim @ Mar 21 2011, 06:38 PM) Dalong just finished his Shenlong MG review... seems the right dragon arm can't be placed on the left arm after all... Just because he didn't do it, doesn't mean it can't.

QUOTE(Harddisk @ Mar 21 2011, 11:40 PM) There were holes on both forearms. Unfortunately, F4 isn't a peg. The peg on dragon fang was G19. So they were not swappable. In fact, they don't even looked the same. Bro, bro, bro... why are you trying to confuse me? And why are you looking at part F4 when i said F5?

QUOTE(Harddisk @ Mar 22 2011, 12:20 AM) My bad, lost in translation while I was checking the rest of the diagrams. Anyway, peg on F5 and G19 (no mistakes this time) are not interchangeable. So I still don't think dragon fang can be fitted on the left arm. Let's rest the case for a while... at least until someone gets a hold of that kit. All that manual staring is driving me nuts. QUOTE(ascentic @ Mar 22 2011, 03:09 PM) seems dead... Just post something to make it alive again Because April is a slow month. No MGs at all. We only get HG Jegan ECOAS, RG Aile Strike and uhh... wait, only two?
QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 22 2011, 03:25 PM) today shot while lunch in office You have both the RGs in the office? Cool.
QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Mar 22 2011, 03:52 PM) HGUC please bandai... Given its similarity in size to the Kshatriya, maybe 4000-4500 yen would suffice, but since it's a massive Char kit, I wouldn't be surprised if it hits 5000 yen. Anything more would be ridiculous. I think Nightingale is bigger than Kshatriya. I mean look at the shoulders and the butt. It's really long.
QUOTE(Harddisk @ Mar 22 2011, 06:00 PM) I want the rest of the weapon packs for PG Strike Gundam! I still remember the PG Striker Weapon Packs on display in one of those exhibitions. I guess Bandai cancelled that plan.

QUOTE(afsarudy @ Mar 23 2011, 01:58 PM) Shouldn't be a problem. The wings are long and sturdy enough to support it when standing.
Looks too bulky for my taste. Fast Gundams should be slimmer. Let's see how the color turns out.
Most likely a skip for me, at least until Bandai releases a proper MG Wing Zero TV.
