i thought the finest for mechanical pencil is 0.5mm

Mechanical pencils are only good for light coloured parts. You'll still need proper panel lining markers in most instances, but mechanical pencils have an advantage - you can use it for much narrower spaces, eg the HGUC GP02's headcrest. Use a normal panel lining marker and you'll mess it up.

go to stationary shop, look for one of those technical drawing pens/markers.. it do have 0.2mm if not mistaken
