Ok...I din know there was a new thread...lol...here's what I posted in the V26 thread:
Guys...I need an opinion from you guys. I want to make a diorama of two of my favourite HG kits that I have now...the Nu and the Sinanju...I want to make it a weathered battle royale between the two with the Sinanju holding the upper hand (take that Amuro and all you UC heroes! No one kicks Char's ass 3 times and gets away with it!)
My only issue is that weathering and battle damage will conflict with my initial plan of making a nice clean pristine Sinanju. Do you guys know of any nice weathered Sinanju pics?
Tak ngam story ler.... Should be Nu fighting the Sazabi. Do the scene where Sazabi approaches from the top, slashes Nu with the tomahawk sabre and rips from the top of the torso to the crotch.
Battle damaged Sinanju... this is during one of Sinanju's last battles in the novel.

Here's how it looks like at 1/100 scale beside MG GM 2.0.

Ah yes...that's during the time when the Sinanju got pawned by those 2 Unicorns right? Heard it was really a one sided battle...
It was one sided because the two Unicorns' psychoframe resonated and stunned the Sinanju, like how Zeta did the same to The O. And then the classical gundam shot hit the Sinanju to cause heavy damage before Barnage charged in with a final beam sabre stab.
I'm sure you mean "fking huge and awesome but the price is scary" It really depends on which one you prefer.

Personally, i would take the orange one because it has 1) a bigger beam gatling gun 2) a shield 3) army knives 4) a striking color scheme, at least until they release Arios or (oh-my-God-no) Harute.
Katoki's Heavyarms did not have a shield, but sports a much larger gatling complete with the ammo belt and drum which gives it a more realistic look. Okawara's design was the one with the shield.
I personally prefer the orange version too. More striking.
Please don't. I'm having difficulty finding the thread.
Agree. The simple Zaku monoeye avatar used in the past is the best - easiest to find the thread.
Oh yeah. Words cannot describe how awesome this kitbash is. Even though the proportions are a bit off due to the frame, the amount of detail is astonishing. http://www.xiaot.com/vbbs/viewthread.php?tid=71763 Sleeved Sazabi. FTW.

MG 00 Gundam. No 0 Raiser revealed. Perhaps a separate release?

RG Aile Strike won't have Evolution's look.

HG Dreissen will come with the bazooka.

MG Epyon...

Good job Katoki for adding more details to the wings, but I don't like the way he toned down the fins on the face, the huge chest orb, the massive shoulder armours, the spiky skirt armours, and what's with the blocky legs? Too much mucking around, Katoki-san
It's still only sketches though.
Dreissen's HGUC form looks awkward. Good that they included the old Dreissen melee weapons.
on a related note, a solution for the HGUC Sinanju to have the Rocket Bazooka, is to buy the upcoming HGUC Dreissen

And end up raging about Sinanju's inability to hold it properly. T_T
The rear thrusters will obstruct the bazooka's ammo pack... you'll probably end up putting it beneath the armpit like a generic rifle. Speaking of which, the Sinanju already has problems with the rifle as its butt often hits the forearm and the fist doesn't have much space for manipulation due to the forearm armour.
yeah, i wonder if it can be mounted on the hg Sinanju's rifle & shield too?
Don't bet on it. To mount it on the shield or the rifle, it has to be able to be dismantled and retractable. HGUC weapons are pretty much the standard left+right+nozzle combination.
As sleek as the Sinanju might be, it still lacks Sazabi's bulk and it's very apparent when both are displayed side-by-side. Bandai... Nightingale please... let me complete my red collection.
agree. i think fully articulate fingers are a waste. couldn't be happier with fixed hands. the male peg does zilch to help in holding weapons..
Actually they do help. The RX78 2.0's pegs holds the weapons very firmly, although the other MGs eg MKII's and even Zaku II 2.0's pegs are much easily worn out. Articulated fingers are nice gimmicks, and the F91/Xbone series had them despite their small size. If the weapons/accessories are heavy enough, even fixed hands can pop out or even break.
Talking about V Gundam, anyone here owns the MG V or V Dash? Any honest good/bad comments about it?
My first GunPla was the HG 1/144 V-Dash Gundam. I feel like picking it up for nostalgic reasons, but something's telling me it's gonna have bad articulations and limbs falling apart here and there due to the transformation process.
Don't have the kit, but from various reviews it seems that the problem with the Victory is 1)very tiny and fragile parts 2)poor hip joints - ball and socket instead of pegs which allow rotation of the thighs.
For some reason the Victory doesn't seem to gather enough attention. You don't see many kitbashes or mods, not many groupbuilds, not even many discussions about it.
Given its similarity in size to the Kshatriya, maybe 4000-4500 yen would suffice, but since it's a massive Char kit, I wouldn't be surprised if it hits 5000 yen. Anything more would be ridiculous.
HGUC GM cannon... the 0083 collection is gradually increasing... still lacking Gerbera Tetra though. Dra-C might get a release due to its apperance in the Unicorn, possibly with interchangable parts like the ZZ/Unicorn Dreissen.
MG Epyon prototype looks alright - they fixed the shoulders and the legs and now it looks more similar to the anime version. Not liking the jagged wings but it's still only an early prototype.
Love it that they made the face "wings" larger than the lineart, beefed up shoulders, and a more tidy forearm claw design. Nice touch to add fangs to the "dragon mouth" but how often are you gonna use them?
Hate the fact that the torso orb is still not large enough, scaled down V-fin, and the shoulders seem to be drooping too low.
F*ck the wings. Absolutely appalling... what's up with the additional claw-like detailing and protruding edges?
Meh... 4800 yen... MGs are getting more and more ridiculously priced. If Katoki is going to keep messing with the Wing designs, I'd rather not have an MG Tallgeese.
Sticking with HGUC Unicorn series... waiting for Dreissen, anticipating Jesta and hopefully a release of Sleeved Gera Doga with the Lange Bruno.

they can give us the design with light here and there.. but then all jaw drop because price is sky high
I'd rather Bandai spend their technology on making a kit more accurate to the lineart, more intricate designs, and more flexible articulation without sacrificing sturdiness. Lighting is cool but how often does one turn it on?
