newbie gunpla-er reporting in..

just finished browsing through all the 60 pages of this thread surely got lot of thing going on..


got a few kits myself.. so far only assembled MG Exia & NG Green Frame.. still got MG Zeta Plus, MG Aile Strike and MG Blue Frame 2nd Revise laying around in the room untouched.. even the runners are all still in the plastic wrap.. hoho


still finding time to pasang them la..

well, for me that's what I enjoy the most about gunpla; the joy of assembling & detailing.. although I'm not reaching the extent of painting my kits.. hohoho..

I don't really mind taking time to complete a kit, coz if I rush it, surely later will see some senget here and nubs there.. I took almost two weeks to build my MG Exia.. doing it little by little, make sure each and every part are nicely trimmed.. it's just a straight build, with (some) markings and also the so-needful panel lines.. not to mention trying to spending some time between my work schedule..

my NG Green Frame on the other hand, completed in a matter of hours.. quite surprised myself it's done quickly.. tak berapa puas la.. probably it's going to be my first and only NG kit.. after this strictly MG only..

just now completed the head of the MG Zeta Plus.. dunno when will I proceed with other parts..

Added on March 27, 2011, 1:36 amtalking about the Zeta Plus, I'm quite curious.. I noticed the white parts are not really THAT white.. more to beige/milky white.. is it the actual colour of the Zeta Plus, or is it due to this gunpla kit already aged about a decade..? (it was made in 2001)

the other day me n my friend borong some gunpla from Time Machine.. I got myself a MG Zeta Plus n MG Blue Frame 2nd Revise, while he bought MG Unicorn, MG Red Frame Kai and MG Kampfer.. got ourselves 4 gundam markers for free..

we spent about RM700++ on that shop alone

hmm.. that makes sense.. if its really is a decade old, i bet the box must be hancur kot.. hahaha.. my box still shiny and in good condition..

about the colour of the Zeta Plus, I just noticed in the painting guide from the manual, the beige-ish IS the actual colour.. hahaha.. if you wanna get one of this, try look at Time Machine.. they sold it off for RM108.. if I'm not mistaken there's still one more..

me myself not really tend to do any painting.. but panel lines is a must. heheheh

they do gonna move out somewhere on the lower floor.. and the one on the 7th floor will be closed

Graffiti is the best to make you rambang mata + jaws dropped.. but imo Time Machine is better priced..

some said that Graffiti is cheaper, but as far as I ever looked through, the price is about the same as Fantasy Toys in LYP

on which floor is this Glory Enterprise? went to Endah Parade this noon, got around up until 4th floor.. didn't found it.. is it on the "hidden" lots?

got sick of girls keep calling "masaj sir~?" on almost every floor.. then got home already..

I live in Seri Kembangan, around Equine Park.. so if the pricing from the Glory Enterprise is as good or better than those shops in BTS, better go there la.. save some petrol and toll as well.. hehehehe

ya lor.. parking under Sungei Wang RM4 for first 3 hours.. under LYN RM2.50 each hour.. endah parade RM2 PER ENTRY on weekends.. weekdays only RM1.. save a lot oledi there.. hehehe

it's ok.. it's not like going to borneo or somewhere

haven't survey the price for action base in GT..

GA price is around RM20-22 for the basic black/white/grey ones.. the clear sparkling green (matches the colour of GN Drives from double-oh series) is about RM25..

I am currently planning to buy action bases.. forgot to buy the other day.. kesian my MG Exia just sits there on my table.. wanna do some aerial pose as well.. hehehe

the price for some of the gunpla kits from GT look similar to those in Fantasy Toys (should we call it FT?) in LYP..

aiyah.. so you're saying that the shop NEVER open during morning?

no wonder I didn't notice her shop.. I got there @2pm today, n then got back about half an hour later..

yup.. GA staff is quite friendly..the other day I went there (the 7th floor branch), that guy entertain me well. he's not the kind of shop owner/staff that annoys you, keep tailing you even you mentioned you just wanna browse around.. ended up buying a white paint marker.. even asked him for advise when I'm making my choice

wah. that tempts me even more to pay her a visit.. I hope I'm not ended buying gunpla from her shop today.. already bought 3 MGs this few weeks.. if more my budget sure lari lah..

imo, TM and GA might have the best price but in terms of variety, GT and FT is better..

i wonder if it can be modded to MG Exia?

would really love to see all of Exia's green-orb-thingy glows in the dark.. plus some dim lighting, sure nice lah.. hehehe

add the lighting stuff lor.. not a big fan of mono eyes

that one fo the GN Drive onli.. what i meant is the eyes, that thing on its forehead, and the green orb-ish stuff on its arms and legs..
