i remember he specifically stated last year when we were close to getting his signature, that if he's going to make a move to another club, he won't be satisfied with a bench role. who's neymar going to displace at barca..messi? villa? pedro? all three have scored buckets of goals and developed a lethal understanding with each other..so i just don't see it. i have a feeling neymar may have jumped the gun a bit when he was giving the interview just days ago (enthusiasm probably got the better of him ), so a couple of quick calls from his agent and santos's president and voila! now we have an imaginary bidding war on our hands, and the transfer window isn't even open yet.

i wonder what nico and drogba are thinking amidst all of this...will they be satisfied with a bench role if some new blood comes in? will they seek assurances at the end of the season...or simply seek greener pastures..

back to the footie, i think stoke will be tough nuts to crack this weekend but i'm pretty sure the lads will look back on the city game for some motivation. there aren't many who can defend as well as them. stoke's intrakota bus is pretty good, but city has the friggin' hummer of buses. so once again i'm betting on setpieces being the key, coupled with some patient build-up play.

after read another round, i think u want Alex given a full 90 mins so that he will be match fit for United clash?..for me, it's better for Alex to come in for the last 15-20 mins of the game. That also apply only if we're leading comfortably. Let Luiz had his game, he in great form now so why bench him. He should start, it's no brainer.

the united clash will be a difficult one. should iva play cb or rb? should alex be thrown right into the starting eleven?

bosingwa seriously hasnt contribute much as of late. offers little in attack, inconsistent defending. its really too bad luiz cant play in the champions league this season. hopefull torres will open the flood gates in the stoke game.

anything can but alex must play because we need him for CL

i think if alex fit enough to be a CB better let iva as RB

for EPL : Iva,Luiz,Terry,Cole
for UCL : Iva,Alex,Terry,Cole

it's no brainer to drop luiz

as for CL, i dont think alex will starts. iva will be CB ferreira/bos will fight for the RB.
alex didnot play a match for toooooooooo long i think.need to recover very well.
