QUOTE(krk24 @ Feb 9 2011, 04:13 PM) except SWP..no difference with our current crop of players isn't it? Malouda, Yuri, Ashley, Josh, Luiz..heheRobben is so prone to injury last time, that most probably be the main reason..in return we got 24mils of good money..believe it or not, thats the highest transfer fees received by us sure they have a financial controller aren't they? |

QUOTE(ngkhanmein @ Feb 21 2011, 01:37 PM) torres is suck.. drogba & anelka aren't getting any younger.. i hope lukaku o neymar at chelsea instead the stupiak 50M cost! it's Roman buy, so why bother..i'd really hope CA will stay despite winning trophy less this seasons..so reluctant watching the lads missing chance after chance especially our Mr. reliable Lampsy..at some point, i would rather have Josh in the midfield for the last game..agree that only 2 CB & Ramires look like a Chelsea player in the game..frustrated yes..but hope is still there, finishing 3rd or 4th..then pls rebuilding and no more sacking pls.. |

didn't manage to watch the match but just downloaded the highlight, a good win. I would say that Anelka involvement is crucial in the team. Forget bout Drogba+Torres combo, Anelka+Torres seems brighter to me. Don't get me wrong, DD is an exceptional player, but his time has pass. Defenders get more tougher than before, we can't rely on the drogba bullying defenses tactics anymore.

This year age:
Torres 27 > Drogba 33 Sturridge 22 > Anelka 32 Yuri 28 > Malouda 31 Luiz 24 > JT 31 Van Aanholt 20 > Cole 31 Josh 18 > Lampard 33 Ramires 24 > Essien 29 There is a point in krk24 post if we minus all those anger tone. If Chelsea do rebuilding the squad, i'd say next season is the perfect time. While the senior is still in the team alive and kicking.. This post has been edited by hidzwan: Feb 23 2011, 05:30 PM |

prompt act such as bench all off form player is unnecessary, but next season i do hope the replacement could be involve regularly than this season..especially young talent like Josh & Danny..

QUOTE(HumbleCMY @ Feb 24 2011, 10:10 PM) Terry wasn't always the best player in Chelsea. It's is leadership that Chelsea gets from him. i beg to differ, Terry serve more than just leadership..he is Mr.Chelsea and he solid as steel at the back, going forward when the we lack the attacking penetration, couples of crucial goal..bar his personal life though..Assuming we bench Terry,Lampard,Drogba, Essein. Who can become captain? Later become like Arsenal, no proper captain Arsenal is not an appropriate example nowadays, reasons? the table don't lie.. |

West Ham finishing superb yo yesterday..It's true this seasons theres no team to be taken lightly.. I feel sorry for our North neighbor, i guess kambing curse is to much for them to bear. pun intended..
On side notes, Spurs & Pool lose, City draw means nothing if we don't beat United. While lady luck running away from others, hopefully we the one whom manage to date her.. |

QUOTE(madfag @ Feb 28 2011, 09:07 AM) i havent watched football during the mourinho era. i only watch towards the end of the season when avram was in charge. this..i'm annoyed toolike i said, i dont mind teams parking the bus, because its strategy against the stronger teams. but you dont go parking the bus and say you're the attacking team. but let bygone be bygone shall we? |

i had a feeling that Carlo might lining up Drogba+Torres..
I refrain my self from predicting scoreline since usually it will end up otherwise..Just hoping for a good entertaining encounter.. no blunder goal pls.. |

Hopefully this result will give extra major boost for the whole club getting the 3rd spot at least.
I'm not sure on which team i'm gonna cheer this weekend..United or Pool? If united win, than it good for us as Liverpool will totally out for UCL spot race. If L'pool win, the butthurted colony reaction is surely priceless. Plus, at least our North neighbor will stand a chance to bring the trophy back to London. p/s: it does rejoice when ur team beat United.. |
