Anyway, feel free to google for chipgenius and then use it to identify your pendrive VID PID and then google for info again...

not able to see any other code clearly.

By the way, I fully charged my phone at 8pm yesterday and at this point of time (7:50am), my battery is still full.

Push email ongoing; screen display at medium (middle), 2 calls (total 5 mins).

So the culprit which drains the battery is the auto wifi scanner which was turned on by default.

Glad that your problem funally solved. How can we forgot about auto wifi scanning, thats one of the biggest battery drainer in the phone. Which turning it off is one of the first thing I done when I received my N8, C7 and E6. Cardinal sin by Nokia to leave it on by default doh.gif

Anyway, how about the battery level now? We can make a guide on battery preservation based on your experience icon_idea.gif

Very nice review there. Thanks a lot.

I have a question on the search function of the Address Book.

Lets say I have a contact, complete with name and company name.

Is it possible to search via company name instead of the contact name?

Thank you.

Hi Stenor,

Just tested. It works with Company Name just fine smile.gif

I will be doing a review about this phone too. Overall, I am very happy with Nokia E6.

Will also be doing a comparison with BlackBerry biggrin.gif

There's way too many apps that weren't showned in OVI Store with this phone. And the prediction is very poor. Still, I kinda like browsing forum and replying with ease with the qwerty and high PPI.

LOL

It's me who are quite annoyed here. This is a really driving me crazy phone. Some of the features like the long press with function keys for shortcuts to something is really nice. Nokia still best with physical key design. However, I'm very annoyed with the light sensor on E6. It's too damn sensitive at night. I wished Nokia would consider tuning the setting or even allow user to disable it totally. A small change in the angle of the way the phone is held will result in the 'disco effect'. Not to mentioned the weak ringtone and vibration.

There is one thing that its good at which is the signal strength. It was able to hold onto 3G signal well in my house where it was weak with Legend, N8 and even C7.

We tend to choose the 2nd best instead...

Added on July 20, 2011, 11:53 pmI found an interesting bug with E6 web browser.

Try scrolling using touch and while its scrolling, press the D pad to continue scrolling and it will scroll repeatly like a circle.

not worried about those bugs because currently using Opera Mobile. It is much smoother in terms of scrolling and overall much better to use compared to the native browser.

Yes, agree. I often miss my calls/smses/emails when the phone is in my pocket even while I am at a quiet place.

The ringtone is not very loud but quite OK. The only problem is, the speaker is placed at the back and it is totally blocked when the phone is placed into the pouch. Poor pouch design.
