My WLAN is continuously scanning for available network. The power saving mode for WLAN (yes, there is a separate one) was also disabled. Need to charge my phone again now (10% battery left - 1 bar) and put it to the test again by optimizing the Wi-Fi setting. |

QUOTE(nicholasbeh @ Jul 18 2011, 02:09 PM) Your 1 day is 8working hours or full 24hours?The problem with Symbian 3 is the data connection bug when some app like Whatsapp activates data connection, although inactive, still eat battery for lunch. Either Nokia works out how to save power with always-on data or ban apps that hog the line. Without Whatsapp, my E6 still left 80% at this moment. Im running hotmail and gmail check at 30minutes interval, Social, few minutes on the internet, few smses and calls. The only change I did was removing Whatsapp. |

QUOTE(ViRaViRa @ Jul 19 2011, 12:00 AM) Just tested with a 4Gb Fat32 thumb drive and it works. So it should be something wrong with my 8Gb Kingston thumb drive (which is also unlikely because it works well in computers). sometimes u need to format the card using the default file manager for it to be work... |

QUOTE(ViRaViRa @ Jul 18 2011, 11:13 PM) It's not your phone or cable problem.I have three pieces of 2GB pen drives from Sandisk, Toshiba and the special gift from Nokia during E7 launch. All are formatted with FAT32 and here are the result. Toshiba and Sandisk are being detected fine and working. The special one from Nokia is not. I double checked with my laptop and pc and confirm all 3 are in working condition but only Nokia fail the test. It come out with an error "Unsupported USB device. Disconnect device". I forgot to mention that I not only test it with different phones (including N8) but also change cables (also from N8). This post has been edited by andrekua: Jul 19 2011, 12:06 AM |
