i want to do some research, perhaps it is software problem for AMOLED purplish screen. those who having the big clock screensaver (please use analogue clock) purplish/reddish/brownish please report here with their product code, whether is numerical or alphanumerical. start with me;

Just back from Holiday..
Bout the purplish screen, i only see half dark purple on the analog clock. But not from the screensaver one. Its from the lock screen

u know wat? Angry birds valentines is out for android and apple but not for Nokia yet. So happy la. I love it tat we're oways the last. Yay!

I think the purple screen is not a defect-lah..Just an effect to make it nicer ..I like it that way

if its just an effect, all N8's owner should get same effect. Honestly in my brain i just think about software or hardware problem

You have to be in the screen wth the unlock mode (Try pressing the on/off button or menu button once) to check the purple tint..I think everyone got this -llah..Only you hv to seen the screensaver wth the unlock icon yet

On the update...already mentioned numerous times here liao..all alphanumeric product code will not get updates. Only those wth numeric ONLY code having updates

this flashing is minor software thing only... easily flash back one mah

U mean the purple tint or the updates? The purple tint I think everyone got it..Only that not many ppl press the start or the menu button that prompted the 'pink unlock icon" below the clock to see the purple tint. Just an effect

If on updates..numeric are product codes for Sinjiapor lor..and thus Sinjiapor got it 1st & M'sian unit (Alphanumeric)..have to wait longer lor

Haiya mine with alphabet...059D1G2..first batch..so confirm no Mobo issue , no purple tint issue but have to wait issue...until now no PR1.1 , No sosial update and no ovistore update...haiya....
