i want to do some research, perhaps it is software problem for AMOLED purplish screen. those who having the big clock screensaver (please use analogue clock) purplish/reddish/brownish please report here with their product code, whether is numerical or alphanumerical. start with me;

i guess because i re-flash my firmware with Phoenix last time. i flash with files from Navifirm, follow guide product code from other websites. Official product code for orange in malaysia is 0599336. the full name is apac1_or_malaysia (0599336) in navifirm. so i guess mine is follow product code from navifirm. but after reflash it, my product code shown at *#0000# is still like the sticker at my back, the alphanumeric one. u can refer to my screenshot of my screenie that i posted.

As far as i concern, there is no collateral damage if only update the UDA. and, its not u changing your product codes to others. Its just like a re-install, but with some goodies. And if you bring to the NCC, they will only proceed if your product codes same with the written sticker at your back. However, IMEI need to confirm with their system, and somehow there is no way to changing the IMEI. Btw, if you buy the original, i guess no problem to send to NCC.
bro, i am not understand what u want to say, but as what i know, Nokia release the firmware update based with their product code. and each product code, got variant, like us variant orange APAC1. i dont know whats wrong with them but some other places like Indonesian also no update. you can check at dailymobile, and other blog as well, they complaint they not received updated, yet.

yup. connect ovi suite will show nothing. but 1 thing i realise that i cant connect to external hard diskn the 2.5" but no problem for ext hard disk using power (3.5")
