Huh? I'm using both Digi Maxis broadband-lah. No such thing on Maxis, After the limit Maxis will slow down from avg 1000-2500kbps to a mere 50-250kbps. and in order to get the original speed, just purchase additional bandwidth..for eg 500mb for RM18. Similarly on DIGI but so far I seldom exceed limit on DIGI which I used as backup.. Speed with digi actually bad. bcos never exceed 400kbps!

Certain smaller towns, Digi really having very bad coverage.. Taiping is worst case scenario. Although having full bars esp 3G there but once you're connected, you can't really surf..Keeps on DC. Whereas on Maxis, the 3G signal is so low at my parent-in law house but yet I still can get connected & still getting ~ 500-1500kbps

Hmnn probably they did signed up. That's why their 3G in Taiping suprisingly good and having full bar but DC most of the time. haha but on Maxis only 1-2 bars already can acess internet liao .. However in KL Digi is not bad & les fluctuate like Maxis although abit slow to my liking

After update new firmware sure no Dead N8 issue liao haha

Hmnnn funni.. I updated all the 3 app updates i.e the Golf game, Video & also the social network..but no firmware wor...BTW via ovisuite.

Meaning.. Those M'sian variants no updates and those units from Singapore already got the updates.

Mine also wth alphanumeric & having Maxis default setting although I dun signed up for their package. Thus no update

I think the purple screen is not a defect-lah..Just an effect to make it nicer ..I like it that way

You have to be in the screen wth the unlock mode (Try pressing the on/off button or menu button once) to check the purple tint..I think everyone got this -llah..Only you hv to seen the screensaver wth the unlock icon yet

On the update...already mentioned numerous times here liao..all alphanumeric product code will not get updates. Only those wth numeric ONLY code having updates

U mean the purple tint or the updates? The purple tint I think everyone got it..Only that not many ppl press the start or the menu button that prompted the 'pink unlock icon" below the clock to see the purple tint. Just an effect

If on updates..numeric are product codes for Sinjiapor lor..and thus Sinjiapor got it 1st & M'sian unit (Alphanumeric)..have to wait longer lor

Darn..The more you telling me the delay at M'sia set..now tempted to change my product code in Sinjiapor liao Sked waranty void pulak

Updates in future will be even slower wth the upcoming sacking of more Nokia top guns..
