Symbian? I'm not sure how much improvements they can do to Symbian; but MeeGo was said to be their next BIG HIT, their HIGH END devices; Symbian will only be their mid-range devices. They're like emphasizing all on MeeGo, all the hus and has. Then it got delayed to this March? And suddenly like, we might only come out 1 MeeGo device AT THE END OF THE YEAR? Because of this, they cannot compete so they have to find alternatives. They're going same route as Maemo again. So, all the previous talk about how great MeeGo is, is for? MeeGo really NO GO or ME GO as some have mentioned when they come up with this name. The name itself already sounded funny and doesn't sound cool.

This is bad.... really bad... of all, they choose WP7... but I guess most people have seen it coming when they replace Elop as the CEO.

In future all Nokia will be WP7 liao. Well look on brighter side.. Nokia going to tranform WP7 from those fugly WP7 ui or even functionalities...You will get a better 12MP camphone too on nxt Nokia WP7...Well hop[efully as lotsa Winmo fanboyz looking forward now...

I guess in the future when people ask what phone you using, you should say IOS/Android/WP7 not nokia or samsung or HTC.

damn, worth every cent buying N8. I can live with small issue/bug. Buy hey, its just a devices that will cheer u everyday.

n8 cannot support windows. And don't ask questions like will p r 3 or 4 stil be available or will windows phones have 12 megapixel camera. All this depends on Nokia and nobody here can give u tat answer at all.

When I bought my N8, I picked it because :

1) Great camera
2) It a symbian, easily to move from 5800 to N8 and most app still can work.
3) Promises by Nokia to not abandon Symbian but to improve it, new UI in PR2.0

So, 1 and 2 have no problem with the Nokia+WP7, but the no. 3 really give me a reason to hate Nokia. If they failed to give improve firmware like they promise, I lost my trust. Really hope to use my N8 for another 1-2 years.

After cny i will go to buy n8 liao, but after heard this bad news, make me stop go for n8, let me wait till June.

I don't think n8 can be upgrate to WP7! This ARM11 processor is not supported by WP7, WP7 requirement is high

just wait for my n8 serve me till die then jump to apple
