let it leak la... just watch ur oil level. Until the head gasket blows and the car starts overheating, then it still isnt necessary to change it

Everco recently showed me their new s-flow muffler where the pipe really bends in an S-shape. Throw a 20sen coin into one end, and it'll come out the other end. I'd give it a try if I was an auto

280 or so.
Replacing the cylinder head gasket is equivealant to a top overhaul. Just that you'll have the option wether to replace the valve seals and grind the valves at the same time or not since the whole head is already out Added on February 20, 2011, 3:52 pmselling off my 2pc epsilon subwoofers with box - RM500nego selling off a 1pc JBL GT120 sub with box - RM300 This post has been edited by ThunderGod_Cid: Feb 20 2011, 03:52 PM |

QUOTE(Andy0625 @ Feb 20 2011, 04:15 PM) I always thought Everco top cat muffler is expensive. topcat mufflers 280 above ok already, coz normally ppl wud pay 100-250 for babyshit.Does it makes a differences in replacing those valve seals, intake and exhaust gasket aswell? Some said old valve seals equivalent to lost compression. Valve seals shouldnt cause compression loss, it'll only cause lil bit of blue smoke and oil consumption. What causes comp loss in the head is the valve not sitting properly in the valve seats.. therefore mechs grind them so they sit properly and test for leaks to ensure they don't have any air/pressure/liquid going through the seats back into the intake manifold/exhaust manifold |

Andy : it certainly does make a difference because you have more air flowing through the intake and exhaust ports. Even better if you have an oversized throttle body and optimized tuning to inject more fuel on full throttle to compensate the extra air going into the engine
More air = more fuel = more power |

xngjn : spend some money on consumables like cleaners to make the engine runs clean and healthy, and then reflash. From there you can do your intake and exhaust system

Andy : No mate you gotta ask Joe Sam they all.
xngjn : If you're gonna spend on modding youe exhaust with the same amount of money, i'd rather a reflash. Modding youe exhaust there's no confirmation you'll get the right setup, you may gain more power but what if your fuel consumption increase? As for reflashing, you get basically an advantage in everything =) |

well if you put in another filter there will be slight difference in performance and if u change the exhaust gains are more because when you have more air going in you definitely need more air going out
