You need to install custom rom first. Then go to any of the theme thread, download, put it in your sdcard and flash away.

I'd like to debunk the many apps=lag myth. Android is built on linux, not windows where you have legacy codes and registry. Unless the app loads at boot or run at background, it won't slow down your phone no matter how many apps you have.

however, live wallpaper always slow down the app scrolling no matter which rom I use.

Quadrant is optimized for snapdragon processor, like in HD2. Galaxy S uses hummingbird. quadrant is very bad at benchmarking hummingbird.

I used to have 2200+ quadrant using OCLF with eclair. Now, my quadrant score is 1300+ is a lot smoother and faster with my current setup (custom rom + optimized kernel)

So, ditch quadrant benchmark app.

But wow, You are on Darky 9.2 - Extreme version. I suppose it's not meant for odin3 update?
Odin only update with resurrection version, right?

no need to remove, samsung's one is only few kb only don't know much about task killer butfor 3rd party one maybe ATK. You know you should only use task killer to kill abnormal behaviour apps only right?

don't know about speedmod's latest. try reading speedmod thread.

you can flash with cwm or odin. resurrection edition which works with odin is bugless compared to cwm one

resurrection and extreme edition, they're the same. just the method of flashing is different

Hey guys..... ive just flash the DARKY v9.2 ...



but the phone kept giving notification saying "Low on Space"



Anyone that flash Darky v9.2 got this problem????


I flash directly from Recovery mode..... so i think its considered as wipe since i dint do anything else and everything is wiped off...

low on space? perhaps there is not enough memory in your internal sd?

check your clockworkmod folder in the internal sdcrad. delete old folders.

addon: hold home button, choose Task manager, go to Summary. tell us which one is full.

If you don't have samsung's task manager, install titanium backup

i think because your data is full, can't install darky's rom

NVM..... i tried WIPE from the Darky Con .... now i got 1.77GB and the notification is gone

All of your installed app goes to Program (size 1.86GB). You had too many apps installed. What did you install? Remember that you can always move the app to sdcard,

well.....


I dun see any differences changing from v8 to v9.2 and new speedmod...


Damn... wasted time.. have to reinstall everything....


Anyway... the GPS is still the same.... no difference if anyone is wondering.. accuracy still same same

I think I saw someone saying that we can switch between Speedmod Kernel and Voodoo. Is it true?

darky ROM has a few launcher to choose from if not mistaken and u return to twlauncher using home switcher app...

u can flash voodoo on top of speedmod and vice versa... dun think u can have both installed and toggle thou

Have a little bit of courtesy and they might answer your query. Try and search this thread. It has been reported.

speedmod is a kernel. if you go into the recovery mode, you can apply lagfix and tweaks there under 'advanced speedmod ULFK'
