any reason to use both backups?
titanium backup pro seems to be very comprehensive.
*
i will get the pro version then, mybackup pro has less functions compared to the free titanium version (excluding the full batch restore)

Hey.... anyone here use Miui player??
It comes with Darky Rom ......
They say its better than the stock music player..... but Miui player doesnt have much settings at all??
I cant seem to find the settings like changing from ROCK POP BASS etc like they have on the stock player....
and it doesnt have the 5.1 surround like the stock player??
Can anyone clarify this?? or is it just me that cant find the settings to these stuff??
*

Awesome. Thanks a lot. I was just about to flash my kernel to speedmod. Just not sure about

1) How to disable it (for updating new ROM)
2) Can i just download the superuser app from market for the superuser functions

These are not in the FAQ. Can you help me out with it?
*
disable lagfix? just go into recovery menu -> advanced speedmod ulk -> disable lagfix

if you're on speedmod kernel, you can root it by going into recovery menu -> advanced speedmod ulk -> root -> install su+busybox

hi all sifus tongue.gif i have a few questions bout voodoo lagfix, hope you all can advice~

1. Does this lagfix really help to eliminate the lag in the stock firmware, or better to install custom firmware as well?
2. The instructions for voodoo says to create a “disable lagfix” in the internal sd to disable it, and to reconvert the file sys to rfs. How to know whether the file sys is back to original? If I remove the “disable lagfix” file/folder it would not revert back to ext4 right?
3. After disabling lagfix, then can use kies to update the phone again right?

thanks~~
*
1) Which firmware are you on right now?
2) One way is to check your quadrant. If you remove the 'disable lagfix' folder, it will revert back to ext4
3) I don't think so, since your kernel is voodoo-fied laugh.gif

1) 2.2.1
2) EH! means the uninstall is temp only ar? :S so if install custom roms like darky's also same thing la? cannot use kies update anymore after reflashing to stock firmware using odin?
3) alamak... lol
*
1) custom rom is quicker and smoother due to tweaks
2) lagfix disabling is just temporary as long as you don't remove the 'disable lagfix' folder. er, there's no need for kies actually, can straight use odin to flash to stock firmware. to have to the stock kernel back, you'll have to flash to the stock firmware

hmm.gif

OH! means once i flash the phone back to stock firmware then i can remove the "disable lagfix" folder and it won't revert to ext4 anymore?

1st gps lock took me around 5 to 6 minutes, then the rest of the time is almost instant, i tried locking in 2 secs... but really rare la XD

i tested it with a silicone case on... SGS gps antenna works fine with a casing, unlike DHD (muahahaha biased me)
