My brother hacked his HTC HD2 to Android and the Score for Quadrant is 1236 - 1400. Damn it!!!!!!!!
*
which firmware are you on now?

quadrant score means nothing. if you want a really high quadrant, then overclock it

my quadrant score btw is 14xx

OK. I'm going to uninstall the quandrant score.
But wow, You are on Darky 9.2 - Extreme version. I suppose it's not meant for odin3 update?
Odin only update with resurrection version, right?
*
you can flash with cwm or odin. resurrection edition which works with odin is bugless compared to cwm one hmm.gif

resurrection and extreme edition, they're the same. just the method of flashing is different

Just Curious, can we change the UI in darky ROM to twlauncher?
I think I saw someone saying that we can switch between Speedmod Kernel and Voodoo. Is it true?
*
UI as in launcher? yeah, you can

yes, true that smile.gif

Thanks for your info.
@CrossX

Samsung Galaxy S I9000
ROM : Doc's ROM XWJS3 v9.1.4
Kernel : Hardcore Speemod K12u 500hz
Lagfix : On
Tweaks : Recommended Hardcore Speedmod tweaks
Themes : Stock JS3 theme with modded TouchWiz GTG465 launcher
Hardware GPS fix

From your phone config, can we have speedmod and lagfix together? How can those be done?
Besides, how to install/ apply a tweak?
Hardware GPS fix? What is the problem?
*
speedmod is a kernel. if you go into the recovery mode, you can apply lagfix and tweaks there under 'advanced speedmod ULFK'

I'm finally on Darky ROM 9.2 (Resurrection version) thanks to all sifus, especially Fornaxlife and CrossX.

But I don't really like the theme. Can I change it?
How about the start-up logo? I like Samsung SGS original one. Anyone can help?
Last but the least, I noticed that the swype keyboard version is older than my original Samsung ROM, can we update that?
*
1) yeah, you can change the theme as long as it's meant for your firmware!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=666
http://darky.ficeto.com/community/index.ph...themes-apps.27/

you can read more in xda

2) you needa root explorer for this. try this, see if it works (got if from xda)
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12984750/fla...oot-signed.zip

1. Open Root Explorer
2. Go to /system, then click the Mount R/W button on top of Root Explorer (to make the system folder writeable)
3. Go to /media in the /system folder
4. Rename "bootanimation.zip" to "bootanimation.bak" (backup purpose)
5. Copy the attached bootanimation.zip into /system/media. Overwrite when asked
6. Reboot your phone

3) perhaps, someone can extract their swype from doc's rom, since it's based on js3? hmm.gif

sorry, can't help much ohmy.gif

yup, exactly. haha..

Anyway, i failed my previous attempt of trying to flash an older speedmod kernel k12T to a newer speedmod k12U version. kinda worry abit, so don mind if i ask:

Do i have to disable my ext4 lagfix and unable all tweaks before doing so?

The last time, i have all the above enabled, and it stucked during my flashing via CWM method. In the end, i had to toke off my batt and restart.

fyi, m on darky 9.1

thx!
*
no you don't have to. i never disable my lagfix and tweaks before flashing

perhaps, it was just a coincidence. try reflashing with k13a laugh.gif

haha good good, after you tried share share the experience between neutral/cold/warm, whats the difference between them
*
neutral more yellowish and bright, warm is not as bright as the neutral and has a nicer colour contrast (best to view warm in minimum brightness). no idea bout cold version smile.gif

Does the "neutral" setting is default setting / manufacturer default? Coz it did not make any difference compare with "no color adjustment kernel". My neutral is still a bit blueish. Now using Warm, whiter than neutral.  hmm.gif
*
neutral is indeed the default settings. my default yellowish lo ohmy.gif

Using speedmod kernel now.. can flash directly to Darky Rom?? coz from guide say need to go back CF  kernel....
*
cf-root is not a kernel. you can flash directly using the darky configurator and skip kernel installation
