Oh..This morning.. I warmed up the car and the exhaust splurted out some black liquid.. Like dots of ink..on my aunts porch (demm) (maybe from the rain last night) is it normal also?

Another thing.. To 2.0 plum red (same like mine) AHK128* thanks for the friendly honk on penang bridge.. Happy CNY!!!!

I think it's waters mixed with some soot you have acumulated in your exhaust.

If I see you guys at rainbow, let you test drive my car that is already installed UR bars, then only decide if you want it or not
*
That would be real cool ( = Though I don't think I'll even push the car enough to tell the difference HAHA! noob driver here.

Oh... so weird. Is yours a 2.0? I know the free service+parts was extended for the 1.8, but maybe not for the 2.0.

You can pm dessimo. He's arranging a small meetup on Friday, and the rest of the guys may be meeting up in putrajaya on Saturday.

QUOTE(vivawish @ Feb 8 2011, 10:04 AM)
Hello all, i'm new comer for the inspira

After hearing all good things for the inspira, i finally made my mind and bought the 1.8 CVT white, and get the delivery within 1 week, day before CNY.

I should enjoy my ride......but just one day owning the car, the problems come.....

1. The air condition compressor on/off frequently while the car stop, it caused the air not cool at all, i shall send the car for checking.......
2. The sound of the engine actually quite rough compare the time i drove the test car.......weird
3. The "ngek" sound from front absorber can be heard, but not frequent....
4. The fuel consumption consider very high.....is it normal for the car before run in?

After all, i'm happy for the ride, it handling is good, but only the road noise let me down. I shall complete the car with sound proofing soon

Thanks all.
*
1. Generally I find the Inspira's aircon not very cold, you have to turn it almost to the max on a hot day.
2. Can't comment on sounds, as it's quite subjective, and I've not heard it anyway haha.
3. Absorber sound is annoying. Somone has said oiling the bushing works, but I'm still waiting to see if Proton will do anything about it.
4. Fuel consumption is higher than usual on new cars usually. But if you're doing a lot of city driving, don't expect a miracle. On highways, the mileage is very good though, at least for mine.

I took OEM one, 380 including paint and assembly. Pretty cool. He was offering HID's for 150 too, with thrown in LED for the side hahaha.

Bro, when are you gonna install yours? I'm planning to call them up to place order after this as well.
*
The paint shop only opens on the 14th, so earliest you can install is on the 15th. They are opened on the 15th ( =

The material is diferent. In terms of shape, there is a small line in the ori one, that is not visible, but allows you to colour the top and bottom two different colours. the OEM one does not have this line. Other than this, I don't think it makes any difference, as the spoiler is more for cosmetics than anything haha.

I doubt there's any difference in the smoothness. Felt both of it. Besides, I think the smoothness is determined by the paint, not the material underneath. Anyway, ori = extra bragging rights hehehe. I just rather save the 100 for something else, like strut bar happy.gif

Thanks dude..

Anyone knows how much is the EVO spoiler with installation and paint at rainbow??
*
QUOTE(JackNg1985 @ Feb 9 2011, 02:44 PM)
Rm380 with paint and install is good deal. Rainbow quoted me last time is rm400 for the EVO X spoiler.
*
Sure so cheap? I think it's closer to 1k. 380 is for taiwan made LGT spoiler, not EVO X. Unless Rainbow boss really likes you haha.

QUOTE(cybersonic23 @ Feb 9 2011, 02:25 PM)
i oso not sure... just do the normal 1st 1000km service, then asked them to check the front absorber (they added a bump stopper), adjust the headlights and wheel alignment...

but there was quite a number of people awaiting their cars at the same time too...
*
They did some stuff with the bump stopper? interesting....
