QUOTE(snipersnake @ Jul 18 2011, 12:55 AM) Hahahaa, that must be back in 2004 Seen the Vita. The only thing that excite me a bit is the Trophies and if can align with the PS3 ones. Seriously though I think they need a better angle if they want to get ahead of the IPad / iOS gaming devices. I own a PSP and an iPhone, and found myself playing more Iphone games than my PSP. Hopefully the PS Vita can change that, and that there is clear difference between PSV vs the iOS (especially when iPhone 5 is around the corner). Heck, even believe any of the current PSP games can easily be played on the current iOS devices if someone wants to port them. |

Am not used to playing SF IV or even the racing ones (top down or first person) with the touch screen. However for most adventure, strategy & RPG games I don't really need buttons and I'm kinda fond of those as well.and most of ios games are clones , thats y i love vita coz buttons matters to me and 2 analog stick I guess I meant from a business perspective, r there enough hardcore gamers to support PSV, or in this case do Sony wants to try and attract casual gamers as well. THere's a whole big market of Android, iOS & facebook type of gaming out there and if Sony wants a slice of that pie, they should at least try to improve the interface somewhat. |

QUOTE(manixramz @ Jul 18 2011, 11:43 AM) yeah , but since psp doing well in japan and thats all vita need , now vita focus on more social device , i think , it will be huge in japan and just k for the rest of world , sony just need to push more exclusive games for the platform. and hope they will bring app to vita like ios or android. Apps to ps vita... that's more potential to people to jailbreak .... and please sony if you want put's apps in PS vita please open source it like android...hahaha....i am agreed on vita more social device & i don't think so ios can beat the power of PS vita... i mean cmmon ....it's PS vita we talkin about , with the dual touch surface, the ever popular request from portable fan - second analog stick & the power of ps3 come to portable size....is like put a v8 engine in myvii... heheh |

I hope it reaches 100 million units and that means more games, more support, etc. But technology is so fast this days that by the time PSV comes out, Ipad3, Iphone5, HTCs, Samsungs, all will have dual core / quad core processors. Not to mention all the games developers are working on for almost every platform by then will have superb graphics, 3D sound, etc. Let's not even forget the 3DS.If Sony wants to play technology game, better put a supercomputer inside so it will last for at least 5 years or more. Or make a lot of things exclusive that people can only play on PS Vita. Or create a much better Apps ecosystem than Android / iOS (though this one seems impossible) Don't get me wrong, I had 2 PSPs and really looking forward to the Vita. I just hope that V8 engine they're putting in will last for at least 3 years before all other portable units have one |

This is better then PSP GO. iDevice can use internal memory to download cause the game average size not so large. But PSP GO game much more larger, so download it could kind of waste time and battery. NVG Cards are better then UMD cause it Solid State Flash Memory should be faster writing speed, durable to scratch. BTW, does this PlayStation®Vita secondary removable memory support? I mean micro-SD card support(since they have dump their M2 memory stick micro). It don't have sure PhotoFast or someone make micro-SD card to NVG Cards adapter for it.

I think there are speculations that they do. In fact, it may not comes with any internal storage at all, since it was not announced at E3. Partly due to they are trying to cut down cost and recoupe it via selling the memory card.Disclaimer: this is just speculations around the web. |

Yes agree, cause the 249 USD = 747 MYR the device itself contain so many hardaware 4 core ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore, 5-inch OLED multi-touch capacitive touchscreen, 24-bit color, 960 × 544 pixels @ 220 ppi, 200 MHz SGX543MP4+,Input Touchscreen, Rear touchpad Disclaimer: this is just speculations around the web. |

My concerns :1. How long can last before price continues to drop and technology catches up (this days very very fast!) and PS Vita becoms obsolete or so normal and cheap the other knock-offs can copy. It's just 1 / 2 years and SF IV can play on iPhone alreadi (example). 2. Software support. Again this is crucial. I think everyone knows this. 3. Market trends. As we know casual gaming is the trend and hardcore gamers I think are a either a dying breed, or remains the same market as ever. Imagine portable gaming. How many of us are Hardcore Portable Gamers who play games that are more than just Farmville / Tetris? I don't think we play our PSPs at home if we have PS3s. So when we go out, do we play games or socialize? 3 years ago when I got my PSP, I carry it with me and play Crisis Core, GOW, etc. (up until frens also complain I antisocial). Nowadays, my iPhone is hogging the limelight when I'm out. Even when I was travelling I find myself less playing the PSP because I can surf, hear music, read books, play iPhone, etc. So many choices this days, hence I'm wondering if the Hardcore Portable Gamers market is growing. Personally, I hope PS Vita succeeds and able to change the market but with the 3DS situation (so fast price drop), I don't think its gonna happen. I will want to get one though but will probably wait for a price drop which I'm guessing to be within 6 - 12 months of the launch. |

Psvita vs ios games? Touch screen games cant really compete with portable games with buttons..
Ios games looks superior right now because the current portable games is using older technology. (psp=2004 tech iinm). |
