Bro, for the compatible 2A charger that you have, does it shows "USB Connected" when you charge? Or it just shows charging like the original one??

Ouch, you have just joined me as a victim that is tied to Digi. I also signed up the contract and got the Tab from digi. Their 3G network is not fully compatible with the Tab. You will always face data drop issue. I've tried and done several network test with so many digi simcards all got prob. Hotlink simcard works like a charm though.

I've emailed them several times but their respond is very disappointing. "Always a smarter choice"?? Dont think so!!

i bought my set from the same seller. Chargers working fine. can charge as fast as original. now i put the new charger at office, original at home and car charger ..of course inside my car. the cable come with it is working fine. can charge and sync.

Hi there,

Just need some feedbacks guys. I plan to get a galaxy tab, doing a little survey on a few sites and went to lowyat. I have contacted a seller selling the SGT for 1.4k, which is quite tempting. But when i contacted the seller, i were told that it is not a 3G set. Now i'm confused. Are there 3G and Non 3G unites for the SGT? Or is ot advisable to purchased it at local telco as celcom, maxis or digi.

One more thing, is there a such prepaid plans for GST?

Sorry very noob questions here. Any help, advice and suggestions is highly appreciated.. Thanks..

Cool!! Its really hard to get a Tab compatible charger. I bought the Kensington car charger, comes with dual USB port, 1 x 2.1A & 1x 1A. When try to charge it also shows "USB Connected", so its not charging. sad.gif

Curious why the use of car charger. Usually we are in car for maybe max 1 hour, so charging will not be complete, interrupted. Isnt that bad for battery life?

Yup, I use gsc website and bought tickets for several times already. You install Dolphin HD browser, then set the "User Agent" as Desktop and you are good to do!

Since Tab drains battery so fast especially on 3G network, its always good to have a spare in-car charger for emergency! tongue.gif

Erm, I dont really like the case, especially in horizontal standing position, notice the top part is loose. The more movement the Tab is in the case, the higher the chance the Tab get scratched within the case itself.

What is the best screen protector for the gorilla glass. mine came with the TAB from Maxis but there'a a lot of swirl marks and scratches on the screen protector now. i want to replace the screen protector which one that doesn't scratch easily.

thats a wifi version of galaxy tab. retail at 1499. should go for it you don't need 3g connection.
