they should throw another flashbang right before they storm the bus. after the window glass broke, they threw it once and then they cleared the pieces of the glass at the window with the frontal part of the ramp. while they were doing so, i think it gave the hijacker(s) sufficient time to recover, get back on his feet and put his finger back on the trigger.

They had to improvise when the breach didn't go off. Remember Murphy's law; If anything can go wrong, will go wrong.

Kudos to the guy providing cover whilst standing on the ramp of the pickup truck. He maintained his stance even when the truck was moving. Not an easy thing to do. tongue.gif

Here's another example of Murphy's law. Again, the breach didn't do its job properly:

The first guy in got shot 17 times. He survived.

Edited: Wrong law. sweat.gif

Japan stealth jet prototype set to fly in 2014

The Associated Press
Tuesday, March 8, 2011; 12:34 AM

TOKYO -- A senior military official says Japan is on track to test a domestically designed prototype stealth fighter in three years.

Lt. Gen. Hideyuki Yoshioka says the prototype will likely be rolled out for a test flight on schedule in 2014.

Yoshioka is the director the air systems development at Japan's Ministry of Defense and spoke with The AP this week.

Japan has put 39 billion yen ($473 million) into the project since 2009 after it became clear the United States was not likely to sell its most advanced fighter jet because of a congressional export ban.

Japan relies to a large degree for its defense on its alliance with the United States.

But China and Russia have made great strides toward perfecting advanced stealth fighters that could rival the U.S.

the Japs are more than capable to produce their own fighter without other assistance

and knowing their armament,it's going to be expensive as hell.

remember F-2? it's essentially a F-16 with the pricetag of F-15
