I've been following the events in North Africa ever since the Tunisian revolution. I have listen and seen the news from both side as it happens on Aljazeera. And I've concluded that Ghadafi have gone bonkers and trying desperately clinging to power. Together with his son Saif, he has waged this war, militarily and propaganda war against the revolutionaries. The people of Libya are fed up with the Ghadafi family. Libya being the 3rd largest producer of oil in Africa, yet the people are poor. But Ghadafi can afford having many large palaces, women bodyguards, foreign nurses and his sons control the oil industry, can afford buying football club, paid American artists to perform for them.

I think the UN is doing a good job in targetting Libyan military installations. Theres maybe some civilian casualties, but u must wonder what those 'civilians' doing at AA guns placements, radar stations, airfield. And now, its up to the revolutionaries to defeat Ghadafi's army.
