QUOTE(kuan1234 @ Jan 26 2011, 12:37 PM) mmm, i mean, about the pirates, why don't we just sent in our normal navy guy to settle, does it really need to sent in PASKAL, is it special force, is it kind of waste? it depend actually.afaik there's a paskal detachment in bunga teratai.and we're dealing with pirate taking them crew hostage here(hostage situation in the sea is one of PASKAL field of interest)besides using a small specialized unit to neutralize a band of pirates is cheaper than tasking your own frigate to guard someone else's water.and bunga teratai just isn't fast enough to beat the small dhow |

i question this david(and this yusuf guy) undermining MAF capability to defend sabah,KK especially(since i LIVE in KK)
don't this david guy know that KK has 2 army bases in close proximity?in lok kawi and Jalan penampang(Reservist base)?and since when philippines has capability to pound KK 'bases' with it's "missiles vessel"?the same can be said to indon somebody didn't do enough research afaik |
