if ur in a tight budget, then i dont think u should worry about the cheaper/more expensive lenses for now wud ya?for most photographers/guy@gal with camera, they'll use their kit lens or wutever lens that is provided with the body first, and soon they'll know wut lens they nid the most. like when u shoot weddings for example, u use ur kitlens and u find out that it doesnt deliver the range ur looking for, so u turn into some other lenses. got wut i mean? or u like to do low lights, should go for primes or the f2.8's. just my opinion. so u wont need to worry about the prices for now. ur on a tight budget so expensive/cheaper lenses are not ur priorities for the moment. those will be in the future. who knows u hit a jackpot or wutever right? and the price diff aint that far, say rm500~1000?

go with the system u feel best in your hands the most, which one ur more comfortable with. investing in glass will be a whole diff thing

if u got that kind of thinking, its hard for u to buy a camera then either system wont disappoint u la bro. unless ur really going pro and u need some specific features. like canon 70200 is more expensive than the nikon's. but the nikon's 2470 costs more than the canon. like that u'll be spinning in circles lor

Don't be shy to voice out your budget here please. No one will laugh at you even if you having only RM2-3k budget ya. We are all trying to help here.

You don't tell, we can't give advice as well.

Base on what I feel myself, Nikon is nice for taking solid contrast colour images, while Canon produces more soft and warm colour images.

Most people says Nikon is best for artistic photography, while Canon is better at human portrait photography.

Just my 2 cents own feel ya. Different people has different opinions on this.

Nice, then get D7000 without the kitty lens
As for lens, 16-35 and 50mm combo will be nice enough, or get 24-70 and tokina 11-16 UWA for landscape.
Get 70-200 only when you have extra budget in future.

going for d7000 ar bro? good choice. have u tried lyp? all oso no stok ar? better u buy fast before u ter-buy other stuffs

600d can kill 60d anytime now even last time 550d also can perform almost as good as 50d already... even 1100d also can go up to 6400 iso now... so is 600d... they are just killing their own products... fighting among themselves..

Better go for D90 at any point of time. Solid! D7000 even better.

a friend of mine bought a lens in japan and its warranty is not covered in malaysia. as i know it, only local warranties are acknowledged.

do they sell the lenses there?

actually its called AF fine tune for a reason...to fine tune the already somewhat accurate AF of lenses...nikkor lenses included.
some nikkor lenses on respective bodies will of cos look somewhat sharp or slightly soft but still in focus at 0, but it can be fine tuned to be sharper depending what value its set.
i doubt the AF fine tune can help a 3rd party lens thats seriously back or front focus.
