Codyx, Lowenkrewz u two wanna get K&N drop in also? LOL If u guys like high revving opt for open port.
For me I like the setup now, needed power when i wanted to over take and normal driving without sacrificing FC..
BTW, I have notice better FC, and slightly louder suction noise from the filter at high rpm.

use original iswara/saga CAI. the one connect from the "nose" to the fender hole. I only just learnt about this nia. from this thread:
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/541408/+280

Added on May 16, 2011, 10:03 pmya i agree that's why i am going to a few shops
no connection/friends so second hand car dealer is my option
no choice
*
If i have a friend who owned a car dealership...

LMST @ 14k would be year 2005-06. Not 04.

I got mine early last year for RM13.5k which LMST 04.

Or you tell them someone brought a LMST in good condition for RM9.XK only with 7XXXX Mileage only whistling.gif .....then it might save you bucks if he is a logic type....saving few K's can buy you good upgrades and add-ons with extra boast to the car and wallet friendly... sweat.gif
*
The extra money save is not for upgrade la...

Use that money to recondition the car. Go for full lube (engine oil, brake oil, power steering oil, gearbox oil, radiator water) service, change all the beltings especially timing belt + water pump. If direct owner said he just changed, ask him to refurbish receipt for proof. else don't believe it. Coz once putus, the amount of $$$ is enormous.

Then you may need to spend more money in coming months (if you are unlucky) coz any how all the wear & tear parts will give way such as drive shaft & engine mountings...

Only mod your car once all the above has been done...

check the car whether got senget 1 side even parked in flat surface , if yes massive accident
All proton cars no matter got accident or not, the possibility of 'senget' to the driver side is high

Another way to check the chassis got accident or not, is to check the manufacturer stamping marks all over the body. Unable to show in pics @ the moment but it's kinda shape like stapler hole (except there is no real hole). If it's missing then almost 100% it involved in accident before coz it was cemented before..

Another way to look is to see the cement. If it's looks like new or not like original then also most probably involved in accident before.

Looking at the manufacturing marks also cant guarantee if the car was send to manufacturer factory for repairing after accident but at least you know that the car was repaired using original parts.

i've notice my lmst headlamps got some fogging already.
anyway to cure it? is my headlamp sealant kaput?
*
Nope it is because the water vapour is trapped inside the lamp. Drill a small hole for ventilating the vapour out.

On LMST, you must cut away the bar holding 2 relay in front of the round hole... relocate the relay elsewhere.

I brought  with my dealer here....but last timei brought he tell me i am the last person coz out of stock...but who knows now they got stock edi?...btw this thing really hard to find...all say not in production anymore cannot find...but the old one(first picture) all proton dealer got sell..lol...my location is under my profile picture...so do you want me to ask for you?

just the outlet vibrating....change to a more solid/think design like mine then comfirm no sound from the outlet. for the dashboard just because the dashboard is installed by the manufacturer by clipping only. so the solution is to dead screw a nut from inside to tighten the mid dashboard with the corners....

hope u guys know what i am blabering sweat.gif
