lol wut? naked eye 3D? why don't they stick to glasses 3D?
hahahha 16GB ram.... i 8GB unless AE and Premier at the same time, cannot use finish la. (okay la, can actually use AE to use up 5GB ram... then still got 3GB left )

lol if i game public wouldn't bother turning on 3D, and right now the glasses 3D is still the most relaxing one compared to naked eye, and the effects (how far the things can be separate) is better on the glasses one (the 120Hz one that is on the laptop)

no the 3DE is the one with 3D screen, but its HD, not Full HD (so that'sthe 1336 x 768 or something like that)

the first one has a fullHD screen.

i think only if your laptop is overheating then only they will change...

current good deal would be the 3Dversion sandy bridge @RM4999. But no fullHD screen.

if you want customize some specs, go for either gentech or xoticpc (i prefer gentech)

see a few pages back there were some newspaper clippings showing that offer. and there should be some shops at lowyat selling at the RM4999 (already discounted) price, unless the offer is over. GS i not sure. normal price is RM6999

base on the G53Jw? roughly 90 mins

1. much more silent, palm rest more comfortable to do typing. Looks more mature/serious. Screen viewing angles wider horizontally (G53Jw) Keyboard spacing better than AW

2. Build quality not as good. Not as much cred/respect? in a way, just like sager. bad port location for the AC adaptor. Screen viewing angles not as wide vertically (G53Jw) but Keyboard feels worse than the AW

The dis assembly... i think the G73 is relatively painless? its the G53jw that is a bit of a hassle. And just building on lee_what's post.

but only HD screen, big turn off for me leh...

actually, is it possible for it to display at 120Hz non-3D? cause those sony or samsung whatever tv have those' fluid movement' because it refreshes at 100hz...

iirc you can get the other G series laptops here, its just the G53Sw with the discount right?
singapore also can get, but other places is like garage sales (from putochip123) or you can order it from US yourself (like that can customize specs abit)

or wait for the G74/54 series... those should have much better build quality

reason I choose asus besides cheap? looks so much better. Btw, built quality AW is still better, especially for the keyboard.
