The only thing can fix is remove all the destroyed alphabets, and DIY a new sponsor to replace it, Qline has such service? Are you soak it too long in water? is your wardrobe made of wood? because i had the same experience, the brand size logo inside the jersey and the CLIMACOOL logo were peel off like yours.

You soaked the jersey? Wow... that's never ever recommended.

One of the techniques I found out works to remove PU or velvet namesets is to soak the shirt with soap and warm water for one night. Then it peels off easily. Now we know why. Did you add soap as well?

Never ever soak your jersey. The PU sponsors on the front are the same material/quality as the printed namesets... they are foreign objects printed with thin glue layer... it can detach easily when soak with water for a long period of time.

Let this be a lesson to others.

And to fix it, yes, you can try to re-produce the sponsors. You can do it at q-line store. But you need the fly emirates logo in AI format.

There are two formats, AI and EPS. The q-line taukeh (uncle james) wants it in AI format. I believe here's the direct download link:

There is a reason why Uncle James want the file to be in AI. It is because when it is in AI format, you can select the edges or shape of the FLY EMIRATES wordings (same case for other logos, such as vodafone, AIG, carlsberg, AON etc etc). You can use Adobe Illustrator to open an AI format file, select all of the logo's surface and you can see the small square dots surrounding the shape of the FLY EMIRATES wordings:



Then, bring the file to q-line and pass it to Uncle James. Call the store first before you go, because Uncle James is a very busy man and can be very moody. Trust me.. he can be grumpy, he can be good mood (normally when there is a $$$$ contract or order coming in).

Next challenge is to get the CORRECT measurements of the wordings (height & width in centimeters). Give it to uncle james. Then he will key in the data and use the big plotter cutting machine at his store to cut out the customized FLY EMIRATES repro sponsors in PU printing. Best is to get the shirt printing done there as well.. but then again, his work might not be 100% accurate...

How much he charges? Around RM20-RM30 per sponsor.

It's good to purchase from both. Depending on situation:

1. Which site has the best promotion/offer
2. If you are a One United member, you can get 10% discount from United Direct
3. Normally jerseys with UEFA Champions League printing (nameset/starball/respect patches) are only sold at United Direct.

You cannot find it anymore in loose piece.. ever. Unless you happen to be the luckiest person in this whole world. It's almost non existent anymore in loose piece.

guys, is it safe to wash the jersey by hand? i didnt notice this before, but i washed traditionally and i notice there's some small holes on my jersey now.

should i use washing machine instead? and can i put it into a dryer?

It is better and encouraged to wash the jersey by hand. Do not wash it by washing machine because you might have problems later.

When washing by hand, just use your hands to wash the shirt. If need brushing, look for a soft plastic brush and brush mildly. Best detergent to wash jersey is liquid based detergent.. powder detergent is used only to scrub off stubborn dirt...

I don't encourage dryer because it has heat and will ruin the shirt.

How do I wash my jersey? First by hand, then when it's wet, i put it into my washing machine to spin dry for 1 minute. Then take it out and I can iron it while it is still damp. Reason is because when it's slightly wet.. reduce the risk of causing burns to the jersey's surface. Besides I like the detergent smell when ironing it haha..

WTF... 5 hours? That is too long man... If lextra/senscilia printings, it will become blurry. If PU.. you know la.

That means the printing quality was not good. You could easily fix it by flipping the shirt inside out (terbalikkan) and then iron press beneath the sponsors.

You didn't answer my question, did you soak it with soap/detergent?

The new kit is smaller than last season's. The S fits like last season's XLB.

The material feels more comfortable too, breathes better.

yup..soak it with detergent...i already iron the shirt following your instruction until the sponsor PU follow the shirt texture..even with the damage i can see that the glue on the edge is still quite strong but all the middle part like came off already

You can ask your bank on why the transaction is different.

A good lesson learned for all of us. Never soak your jerseys especially with detergent and leave it for more than 1 hour..
