dunno can i cancel the VISA/Master card or not after getting the AMEX and VISA/MASTER
don't feel like having the VISA/MASTER card laugh.gif
*
You go cancel the Visa/MC and tell us the outcome wink.gif
IMHO, keeping it in drawer don't do any harm, better don't kacau it. I'm just afraid cancellation of any one card of Maybankard 2 caused any breach of T&C and hence some fees & charges apply.

go to CIMB to get the form? sweat.gif

or, can try using old form - http://www.cimbbank.com.my/index.php?ch=43...7&tpt=cimb_bank

stated there till 31/12/2010 only, but the rate is same, can go try laugh.gif
*
Yup, use the old form.
I submitted three BT application using old forms, no problem at all.

On another note, CIMB's Member-Get-member bonus RM50 is still valid despite the expiry date. This is confirmed by DirectAccess Customer Executive.

yes there is.
OCBC offers 0% BT to new Titanium cardmembers only.
Almost every OCBC Ti cardholder is new-to-bank because OCBC is not popular in cc market.

Just tried to use OCBC card to pay Great Eastern premium but cannot work!!!

Was told by CS that can only work if I have saving / current a/c with OCBC. I am wondering why ah, so troublesome one?
*
Yes,the CS was right.
Only certain payees are available for payment via credit card. Alternatively, you may subscribe to GE's Easi-Pay.
Or, you may also consider getting an OCBC Great Eastern credit card to earn cash rebates on GE premiums, education fees, medical fees etc.

hi all i am currently holding pb cc and looking forward to apply second, which prefer a internationally recognized and higher reputation,  citibank cash back plat was first come to my mind but saw u guys recommend ocbc titanium in the other way.
*
If your concern is recognition, Citibank/HSBC/Standard Chartered is well known international banks.
I believe most people here would agree that [(Maybankard 2 Amex + Visa) + OCBC Ti] is the best combination at the moment.

What matters is that your card carry the VISA/Mastercard logo + inform your banks prior to any overseas trips to avoid unnecessary roaming calls or your transactions being blocked when you are overseas.

Thank you for the correction & valuable opinion.
I always inform card centre before going overseas, and never experience any card reject while shopping wink.gif

I think Maybank is quite strict in verifying credit card application, because I was asked to furnish a copy of the back side of my credit card.

Usually I only attach the front side and never encounter problem.

you mean MBB is very strict on approving credit card application?

Maybe I should say "careful".
I think this is a good practice, and I fully cooperated with the bank.

Oh really?
I chose to cooperate because I want the MBB Dua so badly tongue.gif

How long will it takes for Ambank to process their credit card application ?
I have a payroll account with them and I already submitted pay slip but not EPF details.
Will it be ok ?
*
There is no definite answer to this question.
The best way is to check application status everyday.

Where did you apply?
By fax is more efficient.
Anyway, you are advised to be patient while waiting for bank's decision.
