lvhm only hold 3 brands right. sad how nice can be other brands to....
*
Swatch group also have yr end sale going on. they carry many brands, so how much nicer? U want richemont and Frank Muller group to do that?
Richemont don't have that, but Frank Muller group often have huge sales going around thru AD with discounts as steep as 70%.
Rolex forget it!
someone did report going on those and getting longines for 50% off.

50% off is always on slow, unpopular models.  Not everyone comes out from the shop grabbing the 50% bargain.  In watch, personal taste rules...
or it maybe from surplus! Swatch may have over estimated and need to get rid of them. or it maybe discontinuing the model. another source maybe due to returns! I know Asia don't have returns but some countries do.

there are lots of reason how they are getting the stock. the above may not be the only reason

Anyone know the proper way to clean the leather strap?? My strap is abit dirty but i'm not sure which way is proper for cleaning leather.
*
no good way to clean.
only option is get a quality strap
get a Di-Modell strap with “AERO Lining” which is guaranteed sweat resistant and is 100m water resistant

The coupon that u mention frm ashford, I have nvr gotten one yet.
But does it valid for storewide purchases?
If it is, I will be waiting anxiously coz there's a piece that I'm aiming.
Pending selling my surpluses for funding.
And is 10% the most for a coupon discount you got?

Like everyone, i want my moneys worth. So could you guys please advise if the Oris BC3 DLC or if Oris is a good brand for a watch?

Thanks so much in advance. Please if there is any way I can contribute to this thread (with my 1.5% of knowledge of watches!) please do tell me.
*
u must have fall in love with the PVD that is an in thing today. Oris is a decent entry level brand, running on swatch's group ETA workhorse.
similar movement different brand prices are indeed much lower, some may even do more than Oris decorating the movements and U pay a small fraction of money on it. we do pay for the marketing and advertising.
if you gone thru page 1 post 1 and click on the links and oris design still sings to U, I say go for it.
I fact the above Baume and Mercier (part of Cartier group) Men's Riviera Watch Model#: MOAO8779 is a great deal it is on a ETA 2892. Oris is based on the cheaper ETA 2834.

Get a watch winder bro...
China made ones are ok for normal use.
High end ones can cost as much as a BMW!!!
Ebay have plenty. Maybe other forummers have better places.
*
I am using cheapo china ones from ebay. it is noisy, it is jerky, the velvet peal off easily other than that it gets the job done.

Ok what is the price I should be expecting? don't need too good as long as it gets the job done. I saw some in amazon for $50 ++, and its too pricy imo.

issue is they mostly come with 110V not 220-230V

I don't own this watch but I own a hamilton watch
37mm watch - U like smaller watch?
anyway, it is on a eta 2824 workhorse movement. no decoration.
Hamilton should be a elaborated grade, concern with accuracy below is a chart on page 1 post 1.

if U are paying RM2.4K thats pretty expensive. I can get a ETA 2824 same grade cheaper but not with a well marketed brand like Hamilton.

page 1 post 1 does show a few watches that is in this size.

I'm sure the price can be further nego. the sales person told me it's 20% discount which I think can bargain more.

Thanks for the recommendation link..pretty well build watch too...yea maybe the brand is not as famous as hamilton is  thumbup.gif
*
sure brand is not as famous as hamilton. fortunately resale value most likely just as weak as Hamilton.
warranty on CW is 5yrs, Hamilton 2yrs. 60 days return policy on CW iirc ~3-5ppl here have this watch.

not hard of montblanc dishing out 50% off.

I know they do have private sales to those that X dollars a yr, discounts as high as 75% off. sales event usually in USA. I saw other post some Malaysian asking if they offer it in Asia no one replied.
