Hi guys what do you think of this watch? Saw this at thewatchery, but I didn't find it in JL's website though, could it be a fake?

http://www.thewatchery.com/Jacques_Lemans/Watch/GU199L
*
LOL... Jacques Lemans changes they design every yr. alot of grey such as thewatchery.com are not selling current design. if they are current design then it is slow moving items. at US$199, what to fake. usually shops registered in USA don't sell fake. They might take your money and not give U a watch but fake usually land them in bigger trouble. as for thewatchery.com search around, not seen a report out there on them selling fakes. Even Microsoft work with them to give promoting a few yrs back. Gates's and Co not that silly to work with a bad company.

online grey such as this http://www.skw.net/aboutus.php has alot of bad reports that they take $$ and no watch.

Bring it to service center as it is still under warranty.
*
does collectorstime is offering Original warranty?
if so One can bring it to service center. if they run decent, I doubt they will service them.
its all biz and cost cutting.

collectorstime is definitely selling NOS some are even discontinued. how old? no idea.

I'm looking of getting a IWC Pilot Chrono 3714. Managed to bump into Collectorstime website. Are they relaible? Cause well the $$$ savings are fantastic if the watch is kosher? Anyone manage to get more $$$ off from their list price ah?
*
Collectorstime, no way they will give more discount. I have not found anyone on any forum that managed to get more discount from them.
They are reliable.

Baume & Mercier The Classima Reference 10038 ( LE to 1000pcs)
- An Annual Calendar
- retails us$5000 (maybe the cheapest swiss mechanical watch with Annual Calender)
- ETA 2892 with Dubois Depraz 14950 module

whats a Annual Calender?
Annual calendar is the feature that refers to a mechanical watch. It automatically adjusts months with 30 or 31 days and needs to be manually corrected when February turns into March. Thus it needs to be corrected once a year, which is why the calendar is called annual.

Another Cheap Annual Calendar watch with Chrono
the Musée International d‘Horlogerie, ulu brand but they are famous for creating The Freak for Ulysse Nardin!

Specs
- mono-button chronograph and an actual annual calendar retails at 5000 CHF
- base on a Mod 7750

Been wearing my Swatch Windfall for some time now. Looking for a Tag or Oris as an upgrade. Currently looking at Tag Heuer F1 Chronograph.

http://www.timepiecestore.com/catalog/cah1...-men-watch.html

I'll be heading for Hong Kong for a vacation in July as I am wondering would be it cheaper if to purchase there?

http://www.dfsgalleria.com/en/hong-kong/ta.../product/108208

If I am to apply current exchange rate of RM39 to HKD100, the price of HKD9200 is only RM3680 after conversion. Will I able to get such prices locally?  unsure.gif
*
I don't think U can find such prices locally unless its the LVMH sale.
I think next mth US is having the LVMH friends and family sale, such models usually go for 50% off.
this F1 series changes design so frequently every 2-5yrs.

with over 3600 RM can get a mechanical chrono more worth it than a quartz chrono.

Dont mind if I ask but can I have a comparison between Graham watches and Jaegar's watches? The price range? Cuz I tried finding for it but I guess its just not fruitful.
*
Graham watches retail prices starts are around US$7K and up to US$100K+
thing is you can get then on grey at steep discounts. U can find some at ~US$3k+
eg
http://www.essential-watches.com/Graham-68...oflyback-m.aspx

JLC watches - U got to compare with master compressor range
They starts from ~US$8K and up to US$300K+
thru dealer or grey the discounts isn't that steep usually around 25%. so U are looking at ~US$6k after discount.

That if U are only look at price. other than that U got to provide specific model.
