7750 is a chrono with day date whereas 2836 is workhorse with day date.
the others are laid down clearly on the table.
the cheapest Tissot equipped with a 7750 would have cost 2X the price of a UHR.

ETA 2836

Should revisit and find out.
Price tagged at 15k tho hmm.gif
*
those grand Carrera already priced at 15K. A pendulum concept? those not possible.
more over it is a concept, if u understand the meaning U know its just not possible tp be that cheap.
the R&D cost to make a new movement is >EUR$3,000,000! they make a few concept watch and sell for rm15K how possible is that?

Anybody here tried a china made tourbillion before? Any idea on the overall build quality?
*
true tourbillion?
depending which brand quality is good. pay peanuts get peanuts right?

esp those from seagull are expensive I suppose fit and finish is better. read around but some ppl said U can find the same movement in a US$600 watch, then U get others saying these are fakes. no expert on Chinese tourbillion read area
http://usseagull.com/EnProduct.asp?ClassID...itle=TOURBILLON

for fun joint this group - Millionsmart Tourbillon 1801 at ~us$400, I read cheap ones has QC issue some watches running 1-2 mins fast a day. thats really unacceptable.

another question, how does the watch determine when to jump to 31st & when to skip directly to 1st on that particular month?
perpetual calendar watches? mechanical are complex and they uses a formula to get it work

it not like he wear it became a hit, go read around.
Stallone did order a few to give to his friends and it become popular in Hollywood. in any case he is already 65, a few more yrs what he wear young ppl also don't care.
Richemont play a role in it today. just look at the brands it carry.
http://www.richemont.com/our-businesses.html

yr 2000 prices for the cheapest is retailing for us$2350 or ~RM7K+ that time Richemont already own it.
yr 2002 PAM 112 rrp is US$2800
yr 2003 PAM 112 rrp - US$3100
yr 2005 PAM 112 rrp - US$3650
yr 2008 PAM 112 rrp - US$4800
yr 2010 PAM 112 rrp - US$5100

I wonder how old are U when uncle told U 6k? pre 1995 prices I am sure it is ~US$1K or RM$2.5K (rate in 1995).
http://www.paneristi.com/reference/priceli...prices2000.html

huh? which brand price drop esp those rrp? early 1990s when Rolex is already popular a entry level airking isn't that costly too its rrp ~RM3.5K.
resale, Patek do buy their LE watches to keep prices up.

upcoming brand.. Maurice Lacroix.. says me.. hehehe. independent, young, and they already have their in-house movement.
*
ML not really that young. 1st inhouse movement in 2006
when you said young I am thinking Frederique Constant young (1988), with their 1st inhouse in 2004.

not see FC top of the line watches, ML does decorate their Masterpiece collection very nicely.

If the marketing strategy of that watch company is good, then we can expect a young watch manufacturer price will increase year on year. For example, Ball watch which become more and more expensive due to marketing. Currently, EPOS & Mido is increasing their price too.
*
the cost of movement are always increasing.
even Stowa and CW are increasing their price let alone Epos and Mido.

with the swiss changing laws on what is really 'swiss made', U will find prices going higher.

hi, thx for the reply, discount is very controlled mean is around how many percent? Because i prefer to see the real thing before purchased so online maybe is the last way i purchased. The site righttime.com is trustworthy?
BALL iirc the discount is ~20%

not shop with righttime.com b4. read around for reviews

Where can I get better rate?

I went Hour Glass at Gardens for OMEGA they're giving 10% discount but still negotiable.

Tag Heuer 20% using HSBC card and further negotiation she gave another 3%

What's the best rate you guys can get for this 2 brand? Any recommended store?
*
U'll not better rate for Omega PERIOD. Omega is nuts about controlling discounts and the kind of discounts has went from 30% in early 1990s to 12% last yr.

Tag Heuer u should get ~25%, if U know the sales person at times they can push it to 30%. wait for LVMH friends and family sale and they go for 50% off.

in any case I rather go for a Omega.

the event is in KL, often held end of the yr
