user posted image

but notice the screw on the bezel which indicate 1-12 and also can be rotate...
i like to rotate it as i want to refer to 2nd world time, so it suddenly missing.
i realized one of the screw missing or might be loose and fallout from the bezel.

What is the full name of this brand; CW?
Somebody recommended me that brand in a few weeks back in V2.
I tried googling CW but no results.

Are Timex watches ok?
Saw one in a SG FHM magazine.
It has a see through case. Looks classy.

Thanks CK!
I like CW's but the ones that I like are all jsut above rm1k.
I like clean face with a see through case.
Which brand is similar to CW but cheaper?

Is CW as reliable and historically rich as Seiko's?

I think CW by far is one of the cheapest Swiss movement watch.
CW is a relatively young company and they do offer return service, so no issue.

How about Stuhrling watches?
Anyone sifu here has them?
They look very expensive but they are not.
I like the "skeleton" watch.
Not the usual type that I like which is a clean look but this is special.
Would you guys be impressed with that watch and say
"whoa" or "cheap cheap looking"?

And how about Kenneth Cole?
Or are they not really a famous watch maker?

all using chinese movement, maybe from hangzhou, liaoning or maybe seagull for those more expensive ones.

I would get a seagull

Not so into non-sport model. Compare the price with few more shops, and perhaps here,

Just got myself this Hamilton watch from Superchrono.

Website price on thursday : USD 330 inclusive of USD35 fedex international delivery

I email them asking will the price in shop be the same or equivalent, and they replied : feel free to visit our shop

Feeling :S, I asked again: Will it be cheaper or equivalent as I do not want to waste a trip there, they replied: It will be around USD330 equivalent.

Before I went to the shop today, I checked the website price and they have increased it to USD360

When I go in their shop they told me its USD380 and they decided to charge me S$518

After some argue on the pricing, they lowered to $500. Though it was a big gap from my budgeted USD330,a huge difference of about USD59!! but I did a trip specially down there to get this watch and I do not want to return empty handed. So I bought it.

My experience with the shop is :S You get what I meant. Feel like cheated but what to do.

Here's a picta!

Still, sakit hati, as a gift. haha. Its like RM180 difference, plus its old stock.
Maybe somewhere in March I will place an order with CW, when I have extra cash and ample of time for the cheaper mode of delivery

To be honest, when I went to Superchrono to have a look around, the guy there was neither friendly nor helpful IMHO, so not too surprised at your experience there.

Btw, for anyone looking for nice leather straps, the Red Army outlet @ Tropicana City Mall has the range of Hirsch straps for sale.
Not as cheap as buying online at places like freda, but good for those who like to see before buying.
