Hey guys, Gonna do some new year shopping in Singapore this weekend Any place you can recommend to buy cheap decent and presentable watches? Say around 250 - 400 SGD? Can get automatic for this price? Or is it more advisable to buy in Malaysia? since i do not have time to wait for CW shipping before CNY Want to shop for gift for relative's birthday

Thanks for all the advices. I will check out CW express option and see if they can ship to my house by 2 February or not (subsequent to that public holiday till following week...)
If not probably will check out the Japan watches at people's park.

Just got myself this Hamilton watch from Superchrono.
Website price on thursday : USD 330 inclusive of USD35 fedex international delivery
I email them asking will the price in shop be the same or equivalent, and they replied : feel free to visit our shop
Feeling :S, I asked again: Will it be cheaper or equivalent as I do not want to waste a trip there, they replied: It will be around USD330 equivalent.
Before I went to the shop today, I checked the website price and they have increased it to USD360
When I go in their shop they told me its USD380 and they decided to charge me S$518
After some argue on the pricing, they lowered to $500. Though it was a big gap from my budgeted USD330,a huge difference of about USD59!! but I did a trip specially down there to get this watch and I do not want to return empty handed. So I bought it.
My experience with the shop is :S You get what I meant. Feel like cheated but what to do.

Still, sakit hati, as a gift. haha. Its like RM180 difference, plus its old stock. Maybe somewhere in March I will place an order with CW, when I have extra cash and ample of time for the cheaper mode of delivery

Am just wondering is there any watch box that will have periodic vibration or similar in nature that can maintain the movement of automatic watch if its not in use?
My dad has been complaining about the watch I gave him since he has to adjust the time whenever it has been idle for more than 1 day.

Ok what is the price I should be expecting? don't need too good as long as it gets the job done. I saw some in amazon for $50 ++, and its too pricy imo.
