Asus A42JY-VX072, i3-380 + ATI HD 6470, freeDOS@RM1899... Though if you want to play at better settings, consider to up the budget, Acer 3820TG, 13.3'', i3 380M + ATi HD6550M@RM2199..

Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a new laptop and was actually aiming for the Asus N53SN but I will need to buy it in the next week before CNY so if it doesn't come out by then I'll have to look at other options.
1. Brand - Any brand but prefer Asus or Dell. 2. Budget - Below 4K 3. Specs - Normal everyday use, maybe some light gaming. Also looking for an international warranty as I'm bringing it overseas, hopefully 2 years. Reliability is a big issue for me and I'd rather stay away from laptops with heating issues. Also I'd prefer something with a decent-looking build. 4. 14 or 15 inch

There should be some pre-made model XPS 14, unless you are looking to customize the specs... If not, can try look for Asus N43Jf, i5 480M + nVidia GT425M@RM2699...

Hi guys, Been around searching for a suitable replacement for my age-old but VERY reliable Dell inspiron 640m. Been using it for ~4years and the only hickup is when i played too much O2mania, the keyboard failed . I'm a gamer with desperate need of hardware to play games. As you all can see, my inspiron isn't exactly what i had in mind(my father insisted on it T_T). I was contemplating of having a desktop or laptop so i wanted to ask about what majority thinks of my laptop choice. I don't have a big budget but will stick to RM3000. Lenovo Y560p and Lenovo Y460 are the ones i'm looking at now. i don't mind the little extra weight on the y560p coz i do like bigger screen. but portability is of concern too. The lenovo malaysia website states there's a promotion offer for y460 at a same price for y560p. http://www.mylenovo.com.my/promotionshttp://www.mylenovo.com.my/archives/2370which ones would be a better decision? I do appreciate input on other models that are suitable too. please and thx. This post has been edited by DjK: Jan 30 2011, 10:15 PM
