Asus N43Jf (i5-480M+GT425M@RM2699) would be the best choice but need to find
Acer 4820TG (i5-480M + ATI 6550@RM2499)
Asus A42JP (i5-480M + ATI 6570@RM2699)
Toshiba Satellite L645-1123/24/25 (i5-460M + ATI 5650@RM2699)

Obtained from Hikari85's sales thread.. the 2nd Y460's specs ain't very clear though hmm.gif
Edited: Just checked:
Y460 (i5-540M + ATI 5650@RM3399)
Y460 (i5-460M + GT425M@RM2899)

The 1st one seemed pretty decent, but you can get better laptops (even SB ones) for that price

Yeah, apparently there's a forumer complaining about that, but that's the SB Y560 I think hmm.gif

Mind stating the specs for the Lenovo Y460 you mentioned?
I think it probably has older specs hmm.gif
The Satellite L645 comes with several colors. There's also one with (Satellite L645-1126) i5-560M+ ATI5650@RM2999 (blue color) nod.gif
Both the Satellite L645 and Lenovo Y460 are made from glossy materials, which means that they tend to accumulate dust/fingerprints/smudge despite the very attractive appearances sweat.gif

Nope, there's no FreeDos version for the Satellite L645.
Hmm, at a price for 2.4k and with the specs you mentioned, its a bit too good to be true. Better double check the specs before even deciding whether to buy or not nod.gif

The ATI 6570 in the A42Jp is significantly more powerful than Nvidia GT425 nod.gif
Asus's N series offers better build, craftsmanships, better speakers etc. which explains the relatively higher price (duh!)
Asus A series offers budget line laptops nod.gif

Non-literal laugh.gif XPS lines, the price to performance ratio, speakers, build quality, screen flex (if opening lid from near corners, very sensitive issue since 4820TG reviews), screen quality (LED or LCD), graphics, processor, Optimus and price notworthy.gif
Possibly everything. And LOL I realise you're an Android user yourself.

LOL, don't understand what you type sweat.gif
Nope, I'm not an Android user (at least not yet), more like a potential Android user poisoned by another real Android user (hint hint* astria sifu) thumbup.gif

Lol I mean XPS's performance/realibilit/usage/practicality of :
14 inch (still can't make up my mind) - you recommend me instead laugh.gif
price to performance ratio
speakers
build quality
screen flexibility (if opening lid from near corners, very sensitive issue since 4820TG reviews)
screen quality (LED or LCD??)
graphics card
processor
Optimus
price

And LOL I'm an Android user myself laugh.gif Still noob though, but I got my phone running on custom ROMs and hacked European drivers, boot drivers BIOS and etc thumbup.gif
My personal advice for choosing an Android is please make sure large internal storage with SD card, true multitouch (unlike Nexus One) and a good community of developers for future improvements by hacking laugh.gif
