Hi guys, I was wondering whether you guys could give me some recommendations of currently available laptops?
Budget is max. RM2.5k; size 14 inch. Will be used for normal usage only, no gaming at all, dedicated GPU is not needed.. I only know a few models, want to find out if there's more of them nod.gif

Thanks in advance notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

A bit game, a bit photoshop + LR3 also. No need so extreme coz I wont play max spec.

Prefer light and powerful also, if possible.

Then the U36Jc will do just fine nod.gif
But personally I would prefer the U41Jf with a better GPU... the Nvidia G310M in the U36Jc is not exactly very good (even for older games)... I would prefer sacrificing a little bit of portability (U36Jc 1.7kg; u41Jf 2.0kg) for an extra optical drive and power hehe laugh.gif

Can consider the significantly cheaper Acer 3820TG and 4820TG as well nod.gif

Bad experience from Acer, seriously scared already. I am a Dell and Alienware user, this lappy for a girl. Around 2kg would be quite fine also.

What more options, besides Acer and Mac? I want to go survey after this XP

LOL, for girl ar? Suddenly thought of Lenovo's Ideapad U460 laugh.gif
Can consider that one as well, its light and powerful but don't have optical drive (14 inch)...
Even though its running on relatively lower specs, the looks alone will melt a girl's heart wub.gif

It runs on Nvidia G305M nod.gif
The weakest dedicated Nvidia 300 series GPU laugh.gif
It depends on what games she'll be playing lo... Oh ya, there's also the Lenovo Z360 which is also very similar in terms of specs with the U36Jc, just that its 2.0kg instead, and cheaper by around RM500 hmm.gif

For that price range its virtually impossible to find a good lappy with great specs and long battery life. The closest one would be Acer 3820TG at approx. RM2.1k  nod.gif
The one recommended by Marcus is powerful for the price but battery life is average only. Still it depends on how you define your "long battery life" haha  laugh.gif

long battery life i suppose ,longer than average,,,and specs do not need tobe really good ,decent specs should be ok...is there any other laptops like acer timeline series

I don't think so... Acer's 3820/4820TG are the best you can get for that price range laugh.gif
There's Toshiba units with almost similar specs but they are more expensive by ~RM100-200 and does not have such long battery lives as that of the Acers hmm.gif
