Hmm a great match is on, Roddick vs Hasse.....if Hasse plays as well as he played Nadal in Wimbledon 2010.....this match I give to Hasse to win......he was magnificent that day....very sad to see the Novak Vs Viktor match....Novak won 6-2 default, nowhere near the fireworks display they had in their 1st round match at last years US Open.....

I cut my strings after 20 hours of play........basically every 2 weeks I will cut em, especially if there are poly, poly strings do not last , talking about playability here....durability wise, there are quite hard to snap, only possible if you shank near the grommets.....

Well do a test, this is only applicable if you have the same exact spec racket.....one with newly strung poly and the other lets say with 1 month usage, try hitting balls with them you should notice your balls going slightly longer with the 1 month .....some may attribute it to some tension loss, try hitting your kickers or dipping passing shots.....hopefully you will notice there is a difference....

Well the sad and crappy truth is this, you will have brand new balls with felt/fur, BUT the pressure will be crap......damn waste if you ask me, no offence by the way....I'd give you 3 weeks max, before the pressure of the balls start to drop.....you'd have more fun, if you had a ball hopper, if not just bring a bucket large enough to accommodate your 60 balls, and practice everything you can! serve especially....have fun! Better if you have a friend or training kaki :-p

Hahahahah I dunno if can play tournament lah.......if just 1 singles or doubles match I have confidence....but if you say and if I recall correctly play 3 singles and/OR 3 doubles match per day.....this is definitely not for me, no way in hell I can play competitively sure without a doubt I will either show my ....ahhhhh where is the cold drink, and food coming face........

If 1 match I like my odds against any player period, without looking at their stroke or gameplay, naturally if they are in the current national team it goes without saying I may have my ass handed to me on a silver platter........but I think I can at least get 4 games, if they are fit, which will be the case. I will just want to hold serve, I won't try and bother breaking, if it means running around, however if I can string some good service returns......heheheeh I will go for broke and try and break....I seldom beat people 6-0....but I usually win or finish a set within 15 mins......no 1 hour sets for me......

Well its awfully hard to say to be honest, Fed is going for a unprecedented 17 Major titles......

Novak is going for his 2nd major, Andy and Ferrer are going for their first.....

For me, all of them have a huge chance to win the title, everything will depend on their semi final matches......you have 1 day or less to recover for the final....OZ has a roof.....there will be no delay.....

Roger Vs Djoker: This match I hope will be classic...if it was anything like their US Open semi final 2010 which Novak won in 5 sets, this will most likely be the same....
I give Novak a slight edge, due to his historic Davis Cup win which has given him alot of confidence, he is playing well, Hopman Cup earlier in the month, his matches at the OZ have not lasted long, so his stamina should be near the 'Full' mark, he is hungry enough to want a 2nd Major title, his serve looks much better......

Fed: Nothing else you write, this guy has done it all....he is psyched up for his match he knows Novaks games in and out, he is going for winners early and he is coming to the net whenever he can, I do not know how much Federer has in the tank, but Fed is extremely fit, whoever serves and returns well will be the key to success, if this match goes over 4 hours, whoever has a shorter match and can recover faster has a huge edge.

I think Henin's backhand is beautiful.

Added on January 27, 2011, 10:46 amPrae, when getting the Prince Exo3 Tour?
That is a super sweet looking racquet man!!
Sam Querrey also changed to this model d.

Added on January 27, 2011, 12:49 pmMan guys, I'm having a hardtime adjusting to my PDGT.
; (

Can't control the directional shots especially at the backhand.
I feel the ball is leaving the racquet faster causing directional problems.

I'm now suspecting the racquet stiffness + the high tension of my string.

Better restring and try a soft poly. I plan to use the Pro Supex Ultimum Spin I got from inv before.
Any recommendation on the tensions I should use??

The only Poly I used before was Blackcode and I strung it last time with my Yonex at 58/58. It was OK for me.
*
Henins backhand is effective I would say not necessary beautiful, for that the beautiful backhand goes to Stefan Edberg!
I have no interest in Prince rackets .........
Babolat RA (racket stiffness) is legendary I honesty don't know how you can use a Babolat racket and string FULL poly at 56lbs and above........
If I were using your racket I'd string it at 48lbs.....if I feel uncomfortable....I'd go 45, then 42, then 40......

QUOTE(inv @ Jan 27 2011, 01:35 PM)
The ultimatum spin won't be as soft as the black code but it is not as stiff as your usual crossfire.

I have arms problem but I've never had any issue using the pro supex strings before. But I have never strung it higher than 52lbs before..

Added on January 27, 2011, 1:38 pmMarry me Li na!

The odd thing I don't think cross fire is stiff....though IF I use this string I string at 48lbs....

Heh Novak won......in straights very surprising , Congrats to Novak!

Ok second semi final.....Murray Vs Ferrer.....to be honest if Ferrer plays anywhere as he did against Nadal, my pick is Ferrer.....if the matche goes to 5 .....I take Murray for mental toughness....

Murray and Novak are great players in their own right....its just that they are playing with the current greatest players in the same era...not much difference between them except whats goes in their head, Murray if he reaches the final will want to play slow and not really hit the ball with pace....Novak LUVS pace, he will start to tee off......
